Dear Members This past quarter has been really busy. Many groups in the Association had milestone Concerts, that I had the privilege to attend and present their Directors with a Proclamation from PFDAA. In the newsletter, there are some pictures from each Concert for you to enjoy. This past Father s Day weekend, PFDAA performed at Milwaukee s Polish Fest for the 17 th year in a row. It was nice to see many new faces and new suites presented by the groups. Many of you are preparing your groups for the upcoming Festival in Rzeszow. Unfortunately, I am not able to attend, but PFDAA will be well represented by Edziu Rajtar, Treasurer and Krysia Sergeant at Arms. They hope to organize a PFDAA evening, time permitting, for all the Directors and Choreographers while in Rzeszow. Once they arrive in Rzeszow and assess the schedule, they will determine what evening the PFDAA Gathering will take place. Wishing all the groups going to Poland a safe trip and everyone a successful summer of performing. Donna

WICI SONG & DANCE COMPANY Annual Dance Concert May 20, 2017
As always, PFDAA presented a wonderful Concert for their audience at the 2017 PFDAA Gala Concert at Polish Fest. As soon as the Concert began so did the rain, but that didn t dampen the enthusiasm on stage. Some costume adjustments needed to be made, because most of the changing area was under water, but as the saying goes, the show must go on, and that it did. Hopefully, next year we ll have more PFDAA member groups participating in the Concert under sunny and warm weather conditions. Here are some photos of the groups who performed. Whispers performing Krakowiak Wschonie & Nowy Sądzecki
WESOLY LUD performing the Polonez & Opoczno
LAJKONIK performing the Mazur & Lowicz
Wawel performing Bilgoraj & Old Dances of Poland
Wici performing Spisz & Podlasie These 2 photos were taken during their afternoon show. Because of the rain all the dancers were unable to change into their Podlasie costumes and they re too beautiful not to share them with you
