Extract of the STC Trophy regulations CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION Open to amateur and Professional players, French and foreign affiliated to a recognized federation. Players must be fifty years old at the latest the day before the first round of the tournament. TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS Single Stroke Play/ 54 holes/ 18 holes per day. Cut after 36 holes. Event includes 78 players with a maximum of five wild cards. STC Trophy players will be retained in the order of their handicap which should be < or = 6.4. The top 51 scores and ties after 2 rounds qualify for the final round. ENTRIES : Entries and payment (secure payment) should be made on the Internet at the following address: www.katira-communications.com/trophee-stc/inscription/ Closing of entries will be on March 25 th, 2018 at midnight. The registration fee is 145 euros (Wednesday gala dinner, and manual trolley throughout the tournament included). The entry fee of any person that withdraws after the deadline will not be returned, except in case of a major force. Free practice (18 holes) is scheduled for players on Tuesday, April 24th or Wednesday, April 25th, 2018 in the afternoon. The number of places being limited, the reservation of the tee times will have to be done directly with the Golf of Biarritz. REGISTRATION : All players must register at the tournament office or by telephone on April 24 th, 2018 and no later than the day before the first round at 15:00. SETTLING TIES At the end of the 3 rounds, in case of a tie for the first place in gross score, the tie will bedecided in a hole by hole play-off. Playoff will be played after the arrival of the last player of the event concerned. PRIZES : The Simone Thion de la Chaume Trophy for the winner for a year (amateur or professionnal) Souvenirs offered by the FFG to the first three players of the tournament. (amateur or professionnal) and to the first amateur player. A breakdown will be determined for the professionnal players. WEATHER AND EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES In cases where the tournament should be disrupted by weather or other exceptional circumstances, the following requirements must be met: A round started should not be canceled but continued when conditions permit, even pushed back to the following day. In case it would be not possible to push the conclusion of the event (last round of the event), the final classification is determined by taking into account only the matches played entirely. If at the end of the last day, not even one full round has been finished, the competition is cancelled. The last day of the event, the Committee should not continue an interrupted round if it can not reasonably be completed.
