Move to position 3 and with at least one foot in the shooter s square and starting on either end, with the pistols engage P1 thru P5 until all the plates are down. Place all remaining rounds on P6 (the tombstone). Any plates left standing are counted as a miss. Each hit on the dump target will be a one second bonus (5 bonus point maximum - no penalty for misses).

On Signal With the pistols, starting on the middle target ( the tombstone), engage the tombstone and one circle (either circle shooter s choice) with alternating rounds for 5 rounds. Repeat the instruction using the other circle. Move to the table at position 2 and starting on R6 (the tombstone), with the rifle engage the tombstone and then the plates on the rack with alternating rounds for 10 rounds. Move to position 3 and with the shotgun engage S1 thru S4 thru the window in any order. Any plates still standing on the plate rack may be made up with the shotgun by engaging the make-up gong with one round for each remaining plate. The gong must be clearly hit for the make-up rounds to count and each make-up round must be a separate (distinguishable) shot. Any plates left standing on the plate rack and not made up will be counted as misses.

Start Standing at the window at position 1 with your shotgun in both hands. On approval of the R.O. you may load two shotgun shells and close the action. On Signal With the shotgun, engage S1 thru S4 thru the window in any order. Move to the horse at position 2 and starting on either end, with the rifle engage thru R3 with a 9 round Nevada sweep. Move to the table at position 3 and starting on either end, engage P1 thru P3 with a 5 round Nevada sweep. Move to the doorway at position 4 and starting on either end, engage P1 thru P3 thru the doorway with a 5 round Nevada sweep.

On Signal With the pistols, engage P1 thru P3 thru the window with a double tap on the center target and then sweep P1 thru P3 starting on either end. Repeat the instruction. Move to the fence at position 2 and with the rifle engage thru R3 with a double tap on the center target and then sweep thru R3 starting on either end. Repeat the instruction. With the shotgun, move to the doorway at position 3 and engage S1 thru S4 in any order thru the doorway. You may load your shotgun on the move as long as the action remains open.

At position 3, with the rifle and starting on either end, engage thru R4 thru the window with a Badger sweep (1-2-3-4-1-2-3-1-2-1). With the shotgun, engage S1 and S2 thru the window in any order.

Gun sequence Pistols, rifle, shotgun. Start Standing tall at the left window at position 1 with your hands at your sides. On Signal With the pistols, place 1 round on RP1, 2 rounds on RP2, 3 rounds on RP3, and 4 rounds on RP4 thru the window. With the rifle, place 5 rounds on RP5, and 6 rounds on RP6 thru the window. The rifle must be reloaded with one round to fire the 21st round and the rifle may only be reloaded after at least one round has been fired from the rifle. Move to the right window at position 2 and engage S1 thru S4 thru the window in any order.

Scoring will be the number of hits with time as the tie breaker. 4. Rifle caliber lever action rifles and ammo will be available for those shooters needing it.
Pocket Pistol and Derringer Side Match Bay 3 P 1 P 2 4 Rounds for Pocket Pistol or 2 Rounds for Derringer Staging Pocket pistol loaded with 4 rounds staged flat on the card table. or Derringer loaded with 2 rounds staged flat on the card table. Start Sitting at the card table with the hand of cards held with both hands. On Signal If using a pocket pistol, engage P1 and P2 with 2 rounds each in any order. If using a derringer, engage P1 and P2 with one round each in any order. Scoring To receive a score, the shooter must have at least one hit on each target. To count as a hit, the shooter must hit the target in the 7 ring or higher. Each shooter will shoot the stage twice and each stage is scored individually with the better score used for finishing position. The two stages are not required to be shot consecutively (particularly when Cap and Ball firearms are used). Scoring will be based on elapsed shooting time adjusted for any penalties (such as procedurals). To place in the top three finishing positions the shooter must have a valid score. Notes: 1. Refer to the SASS Shooters Handbook for firearm and ammunition requirements. 2. All loading and unloading will be done at the card table under the supervision of the Timer Operator. 3. Any infraction that would normally result in a Stage DQ will result in a Match DQ for the side match only.
