1. General information The IAG Sportevent will take place from May 5th up and until May 8th 2016 and will be organised for the third time in and around the Flik-Flak and Maaspoort facilities. You can participate in International Competitions of the highest level, but you can also enjoy active workshops, live music and the GymPOWER Open podium. Trainers can enhance their knowledge during the coach congress, gymnasts can partake in one of the many sports camps and community members meet each other at Tonny s terrace. Each day the program is filled with numerous activities for young and old, to watch, participate and enjoy. For Acrobatic Gymnastics this is the schedule: International tournament, Thursday May 5th, Friday May 6th and Saturday may 7th 2016 Workshops and clinics, Wednesday May 4th and Sunday May 8th 2016 The competition for Acrobatic Gymnastics is open for regional, national and international teams. Besides the regular competition there will be a team competition (More information in art. 5) In this competition the following age categories can participate and FIG rules and regulations will be used. Competition program Qualifications and finales in all disciplines (Men s pairs, Women s pairs, mixed pair, Women s groups and Men s groups) Qualifications: For youth, Age group, Junior and Senior: 1 balance routine + 1 dynamic routine. Finals: top 6, 8 or 12 of the qualifications, depending upon the number of participants of pairs/groups in each category. 1 to 8 pairs/groups 6 finalists 9 to 16 pairs/groups 8 finalists over 16 pairs/groups 12 finalists Determination of final ranking: Youth: - Final routine: Balance or dynamic, according to FIG rules 11-16 of the year 2015-2016 - Final ranking: Only final routine Age group, Junior and Senior - Final routine: combined - Final ranking: Qualification score + Final score. 5. Acrobatic Team Competition The following rules are used: - The team competition will consist of three teams of choice that are pre-recorded - The three teams should consist of at least 2 different age categories - At least 1 pair and 1 group - The ranking is determined by the sum of all routines from all three teams. (balance, dynamic and combined, or for youth balance, dynamic and final routine) - For seniors the degree of difficulty cannot exceed 10 for the team competition, this because the seniors would otherwise have an advantage over all other age categories. Registration for the team competition can be done through the team-competition form (This must be send to you) and to return the form to acro@iagsportevent.nl BEFORE April 15 th 2016) 6. Technical Rules The following FIG rules will be used ( as of 2015): - Code Of Points (2013 2016) - Tables Of Difficulty (2013 2016) - All newsletters (2013 2016) - World Age Group Rules 2013-2016 7. Draw for starting order The draw will take place on April 1 th 2016 under the supervision of the organization comity and the acrobatic gymnastics competition manager. Each pair/group will receive their own number that needs to be filled in on the tariff sheet, that need to be send back by e-mail. 8. Accreditation competition sheets and music Accreditation: - Flik-Flak hall, 2 nd floor acrobatics hall - Wednesday May 4 th from 09.00 21.00 - Thursday May 3th from 09.00 21.00 The accreditation system identifies the individual participation of gymnasts and shows who can enter which area. All participants, coaches and judges are required to have their accreditation with them at all times. During the accreditation, the coaches check all the names for the entire delegation. They also hand over 1CD, of each routine for their gymnasts (1CD to be sure). They are also in possession of all the passports of the participants so that the date of birth and nationality can be checked. They will also receive the final competition schedule. The accreditation is personal, cannot be lent to someone else. It is mandatory to have the accreditation to get access to the training and competition facilities, meals and staying overnight. Tariff sheets: The tariff sheets need to be send in PDF-file BEFORE April 15 th 2016 to: info@iagsportevent.nl (If any small changes occur, a new tariff sheet needs to be handed of during the accreditation. Please note: Only small changes are permitted. ) Use the following tittle/name for the tariff sheet: NUMBER_DISCIPLINE_AGECATEGORY_ROUTINE_COUNTRY Example: 16_MXP_S_BAL_NED.PDF NB: Y = Youth; AG = Age Group; J = Junior; S = Senior Music: The music must be in MP3 file and needs to be send BEFORE April 22 th 2016 to: acromusic.iag@gmail.com The music will be played from a computer, in order to avoid mistakes and non-readable cd s. We do ask to hand in 1 extra cd during accreditation just to be sure.
