WELCOME Thank you for your interest in Cambridge Rugby Club. With promotion as Champions to National League 1 in 2016, Cambridge is now the leading club in the Eastern Counties. Founded in 192, Cambridge Rugby Club has a proud history of developing players and providing an excellent environment to play rugby. Today the club has over 400 boys and girls learning and developing their skills in our Mini and Youth section before moving into our Colts team and then onto the senior sides. We run three adult teams and this is set to expand over the coming seasons with the introduction of a ladies side. Our clubhouse extension at Volac Park is due for completion in September 2017. This will provide new changing rooms, showers, gym and physio suites. The community coaching programme sees us share our experience and further the game by delivering training courses in schools, universities and to community projects. We are an ambitious club with a strong community focus and want to grow and be as successful as possible both on and off the field. We look forward to welcoming new partners to the club so that we may continue to establish Cambridge as a truly great rugby town. 01

MINI & YOUTH RUGBY Come to the Club on a Sunday morning and you will see over 400 boys and girls aged 6 to 18 playing with as much pride and passion as the 1st XV but perhaps with a different emphasis, where children smiling is much more important than winning. The Mini and Youth section of the club is a great success story. With over 400 boys and girls taking part every week, we are one of the largest clubs in the country. The Mini and Youth section is run principally by the parents of the children and adheres fully to the requirements and recommendations of the RFU. The Mini, Midi and Youth rugby section divides into three parts: Mini (Under 7s to Under 10s), Midi (Under 11s and Under 12s) and Youth (Under 1s to Under 17s). Colts rugby (Under 17 and Under 18 combined) is the transition section to the full adult game. Many of our Mini and Youth players have progressed through the ranks and represented not only our 1st XV, but also other professional clubs and even the England national team. 0

COMMUNITY Cambridge Rugby Club is aiming to build on the successes it has achieved by ensuring the Cambridgeshire community is an integral part of its Rugby Club. One of our key links with the community is through our community coaching programme. Our community coaching team delivers inclusive rugby and multisport programmes to primary and secondary schools, universities and other community projects throughout Cambridgeshire. MATCH DAY HOSPITALITY Entertain your clients, staff, friends or family with a fantastic pre-match lunch at Cambridge Rugby Club. Our match day hospitality starts two and a half hours before kick off with drinks in the bar. It then continues in our main hospitality suite, overlooking the first team pitch for a delicious waiter-served three course meal. Hospitality guests have the option to reserve grandstand seating.
