LOOKING AHEAD School Schedule NOON DISMISSAL Thursday, October 26 NO SCHOOL Friday, October 27 Dress Up Days and Halloween Dance Friday, October 20 Pajama Day & PTO Dance 6:30-8:30 (Westside Gym) Monday, October 31 st Crazy Hair & Orange and Black Day Take Note Parent-Teacher Conferences Sign-up forms for conferences were sent home last week please turn in your forms to your child s teacher by Monday, October 23 - thank you! Clothes Closet Request All sizes of boys and girls gym shoes are needed in the Clothes Closet no cleats please. Thank you!! School Fees If you have not already done so, please pay your child s school fees at your earliest convenience. Payments can be made through Infinite Campus OR in the school office. If you re paying with a check, please make it payable to KASD. If you have any questions, please let us know - thank you! General Fees: 5K-$20.00 Grades 1-4-$30.00 5K Milk Fee: $40.00 (for the whole year) Headphones: $5.00 (for 5K and new students only) OPTIONAL-Yearbook: $11.00 Enjoy the rest of your week, and please contact school if you have any questions. MINUTES Westside Elementary PTO Meeting October 12, 2017 6:30-7:30 LMC 6:30 Welcome: Roll Call Jodi Ubbink 6:35-6:45 Principals Report: Walk to school was a success, thanks to everyone who participated. We had an estimate of 400 plus walkers during walk for Westside. We also hired a long term sub for 12 weeks to work with small groups of students who need extra support. Parent Meeting Papermaker Youth Wrestling Club Date: Tuesday, November 14 th Time: 6:30 7:30 Location: Kimberly High School LGI Room The Kimberly Youth Wrestling Program is open to all youth in grades 4K through 6 th grade. IN OUR PROGRAM Everyone participates. The person is more important than the athlete. Your child is taught the value of hard work, dedication, self-discipline, commitment, and perseverance. TEAMWORK. Supporting and helping one another achieve success will be stressed. TEAM Together Everyone Achieves More Winning and Losing is a personal experience. Your child will benefit from both, learning humility and dignity. Your child will learn the basics of wrestling that will prepare them for success at the high school level.
