If you have any club news, Please call or email me at 541-944- 7110 or ssccmedfordnewsletter@gmail.com NEW EVENT!!!! The Track Now has Lights that we can rent. We are doing an auto cross event under the lights Saturday, September 9th. Registration MUST be Done before 5pm. Drivers Meeting at 6:45pm, Event Starts at 7pm Club Meetings OUR CLUB IS GOING THOUGH LOTS OF CHANGES, WE WANT AND NEED YOUR PARTICATION! We moved the day and location of SSCC meetings to the third Wednesday of the month, at 6:30 our new meeting space will be at Southern Oregon Subaru at 3103 Biddle Rd, Medford, OR 97504 The Club is drawing for free Sunday entries. Drawing will be held at the end of each monthly meeting. Next meeting Wednesday, October Please join us and you could win! Note from the Comp Directors: Note From the CD RCS 6 was another great event. It was nice to see some new faces and new cars at the track. The smoke was a bummer, but the temps were bearable and I personally had a blast. A special thanks to Dave Kipperman for sharing his ride with me this weekend - always fun to drive a fast Datsun. I wanted to give a shout out to everyone who stayed to help clean up at the last couple of events. We really appreciate the team effort to wrap everything up so we can all enjoy what remains of our weekend!!! Our second round of night racing was also a success and I think we'll get one more in before the lights go away. We are hoping to do it on Saturday night during the September race weekend. We have to pay for light rental and fuel in the light generators so we need to have at least 7 paid drivers to cover each hour of rental and fuel. If we could have at least 7 confirmed before the morning of the 9th, we can do for sure we'll run that night. If not, we'll have to decide later in the day. So, if you want to run, please let us know sooner rather than later. As info, at the August event, sunset time was 8:05 and we turned on the lights at 8:15. September event sunset is at 7:30, so we'll probably run lights from 7:45 till the last run. Thanks again for a great season to date. See you in September!!!
