PROCESSING CAPABILITIES D3O offers Polyurethane and Polyolefin material blends suitable for a wide range of processing techniques. D3O PUs: Working closely with the worlds leading PU machine company, DESMA, D3O footwear PUs (D3O Decell, D3O Pulse) are compatible with both injection moulding (direct attach) and cementing techniques. D3O POs: D3O s footwear grades of PO (D3O LITE materials) are compatible with traditional methods, from compression moulding to injection moulding.
D3O FOOTWEAR MATERIALS D3O Lite: A grade of LITE developed specifically for use in the footwear market, bringing a lightweight smart material to underfoot applications. D3O Decell: D3O Decell brings strain rate sensitivity to the footwear market. Walk and D3O Decell offers cushioning, remaining soft and flexible, but start running and the D3O reacts to each impact, providing the user with shock absorption that traditional EVAs cannot match. D3O LITE PERFORMANCE DATA D3O LITE: The three key performance properties in midsoles are: Energy Return Comfort Shock absorption D3O LITE outperforms competitor foams in all areas. Graph 1 shows rebound properties twice as good as competitor foams, resulting in a more efficient ride. It is ideally suited to military, tactical, industrial, outdoor and performance footwear. Features and benefits: Decell B offers maximum impact protection, whilst providing a softer, lighter ride. Applications: Insoles, heel / forefoot inserts, and performance strobel. Processability: Decell B has been developed to be processed through direct attach machines such as DESMA.
