Constructed of 1/4 powder coated steel, the 4-Way Plate Anchor can be installed on wood, metal, and concrete applications. Its 4 connection points greatly increase the potential working range, as a worker could detach from a connection point, reattach to the opposite connection point, and be able to work in fall arrest or restraint on the other side of a building, all from the same anchor. Its 90-degree angles between its connection points also make the 4-Way Plate anchor a perfect rooftop corner joint for horizontal lifeline systems. When used in combination with a horizontal lifeline system, the horizontal lifeline can support two workers in fall arrest or four workers in fall restraint. It is also the only roofing kit that incorporates an integrated shock absorber into the lifeline. With this unique feature, the user will never have to worry about adding a shock absorbing lanyard to their fall protection system. And, by removing the shock pack from the worker s back, less dead weight is transferred to the dorsal D-ring, and maximum potential free fall is reduced, thereby keeping the worker both safer and more comfortable.
