Chambers County 4-Hers made a big impression, winning many awards and advancing to State 4-H Roundup in many divisions! They all performed exceedingly well and we are very proud of them. Chambers County

Here s What s Happened! She performed exceedingly well at State Roundup and went on to win the competition! Emma also participated in the Solo/Band Category of the Share the Fun Contest where she got 4th place. Way to go Emma! Winnie 4-H Officers Winnie 4-H Club elected new officers at their May 2015 meeting. The 2015-2016 Winnie 4-H Officers are as follows: President Zachary Harmon-Booze Vice President Cody Tarver Secretary Kristen Davis Treasurer Colton Fant Reporter Trista Bevil Health and Safety Officer Cheyanne Cox Parliamentarian William Loftin State 4-H Roundup State 4-H Roundup was held in College State in June. We had several Chambers County 4-H members compete and do very well. Macie Broussard of West Chambers 4-H Club participated in the Wearable Fashion Storyboard contest. Macie placed 19th with her project. Great job Macie! Mason Broussard participated in the 4-H SET competition. He placed first in his division then went on to place sixth overall. Mason did a great job with his project at State 4-H Roundup (and many other competitions). We are so proud of you, Mason! We are so proud of Emma Taylor who WON the Texas 4-H Has Talent competition! She submitted a video of herself singing and playing her guitar to YouTube and was chosen as one of only five finalists from across the entire state of Texas. Spring Edition 2015 Page 3

During this year, Texas 4-H had a year-long celebration to honor Texas 4-H s centennial. Ingredients: Thinly sliced low-sodium ham 3/4 Cup pineapple chunks 1. Fold one slice of low-sodium ham accordion-style and place on a wooden skewer 2. Place one pineapple chunk on skewer on top of ham 3.
