MEET THE COACHING TEAM MIKE LIGHTFOOT Camp Director and Men's Basketball Coach Head coach since 1987, Coach Lightfoot was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame for making the Pilots a national powerhouse with three NAIA National Championships and four NCCAA National Championships to go along with numerous individual honors. As camp director, Lightfoot has been involved in Bethel s Sports Camps since the early 70s. Over the years, the camps have been recognized as some of the best teaching camps in the nation. Coach Lightfoot and his staff make all Bethel campers feel truly special. HEATHER MISHLER Cheerleading A former cheerleader and graduate of Bethel College, Coach Mishler began her first season as the head cheerleading coach during the 2014-20015 season after spending four years coaching at the high school level in the area. KEVIN ULMER Volleyball Head Coach for the Pilots since 2012, Coach Ulmer has led the team to a 89-64 record and had made appearances in both the Crossroads League Championship game and the NCCAA National Tournament. ANDREW WODRICH Women's Basketball A Bethel College Alumni, Coach Wodrich returned in 2014 to guide the Lady Pilots after prepping as an assistant at NCAA DI, Western Michigan University and Central Michigan University. THIAGO PINTO Men's Soccer Head coach since 2009, Coach Pinto led the men s soccer team to an NAIA National ranking in his first four seasons. He has led the Pilots to two NAIA National tournaments while winning the conference regular season and tournament title twice. JAMIE LINDVALL Women's Soccer Joining the Bethel family in 2014, Coach Lindval brings over a decade of coaching experience to the Pilots program from the sidelines of NCAA DII, DIII and other NAIA institutions. MEGAN HASTINGS Softball Head Coach for the Pilots since 2012, Coach Hastings led the team to a 66-67 record and helped BC to a second place finish in the Crossroads League Tournament, while earning a trip to the NAIA National Tournament in 2012. JOHN NATALI Tennis Head coach since 2001, Coach Natali oversees both the men s and women s programs at Bethel as director of tennis. His teams have regularly advanced to the NCCAA National Tournament. SCOTT HOLMES Women's Lacrosse Holmes was selected in November of 2014 to launch the first ever Bethel women's lacrosse program. He is a certified U.S. Lacrosse high school women's head coach, and has developed multiple players into NCAA athletes. TONY NATALI Track & Men's Basketball Head coach since 1998, Coach Natali serves as the Bethel track coach as well as men s basketball assistant coach. His track teams have won 8 NCCAA National Championships & 8 MCC/League titles JACOB GRABILL Drumline A 2014 graduate of Bethel College, Grabill participated in the concert band, percussion ensemble, jazz ensemble, jazz combo, musical pit and chamber orchestra. He directs the percussion & is the assistant pep band director at NorthWood High School.
