APPEARANCE AND ODOR: Laminate sheet. No discernible odor. SECTION III - PHYSICAL PROPERTIES MOLECULAR WEIGHT: Not applicable due to composite nature of product. SPECIFIC GRAVITY: 1.2 @ 70 F SOLUBILITY IN WATER: Insoluble in water. ph: Not applicable as product is solid. SECTION IV - FIRE AND EXPLOSION DATA: FLASH POINT: Product has no flash point per Pensky Martins Closed Cup method. FIRE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: This material is considered a "Class A" type combustible material. Use water, foam or dry chemical to extinguish. FLAMMABLE LIMITS: LOWER: None UPPER: None SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: No special procedures required. UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: Minimize accumulation of dust from cutting or sanding operations through use of local ventilation systems. High airborne concentrations of combustible dusts may be explosive if contacted with an ignition source. HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS: Thermal decomposition may release toxic and/or hazardous gases.

SECTION V - REACTIVITY DATA STABILITY: Product is stable. CONDITIONS TO AVOID: Avoid exposure to open flame. HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Thermal decomposition may release toxic and/or hazardous gases. HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: Will not occur. SECTION VI - HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION EXPOSURE FROM ROUTINE USE: Dust from cutting or sanding operations can cause irritation to the eyes, respiratory system and skin. EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: Exposure to elevated dust levels may cause irritation to the eyes and respiratory system. Prolonged skin exposure to dust may cause drying of the skin. ROUTES OF EXPOSURE: Potential routes of exposure are inhalation as well as skin and eye contact. EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES: EYE CONTACT: Wash eyes immediately with large amounts or water, occasionally lifting upper and lower lids, until no evidence of dust remains (approximately 15-20 minutes). SKIN CONTACT: Wash affected area with soap and water to remove residual dust. INHALATION: Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately. INGESTION: Treat symptomatically and supportively if dust is ingested. OTHER: The resin used to make this plastic contains small amounts of formaldehyde. The cured plastic may evolve small amounts of formaldehyde when fabrication or heating of the product occurs. Air testing of representative fabrication operations indicates that formaldehyde releases are minimal and formaldehyde air concentrations are below regulatory standards. IARC has classified formaldehyde as a carcinogen to humans (Group 1).

SECTION VII - TOXICITY DATA ORAL: DERMAL: INHALATION: EYE: CARCINOGENCITY: Product has not been tested for carcinogenicity. SECTION VIII - SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION WORK AND HYGIENE PRACTICES: Wear safety glasses or goggles in fabrication operations that may generate airborne dust. Wear gloves during exposure to dust or frequently wash hands to remove residual dust. Maintain airborne dust limits below the exposure limits. Minimize dust generation and accumulation from fabrication operations. Sweep up dust. Avoid blowing dust with compressed air. Avoid exposure of dust to open flame and ignition sources. Electrically ground and bond all equipment used for fabrication operations. STORAGE AND HANDLING PRACTICES: No special requirements for the product. Store dust away from heat, ignition sources and oxidizing agents. PROTECTIVE PRACTICES DURING MAINTENANCE OF CONTAMINATED EQUIPMENT: Do not use compressed air to remove dust from equipment. Sweep or wash dust from unit. VENTILATION AND ENGINEERING CONTROLS: Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation to maintain airborne concentrations below the exposure limits. Enclose fabrication operations, where possible, to minimize dust dispersion into other work areas. RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Where dust exposures may exceed the regulatory standards, respirators should be selected by and used under the direction of a trained health and safety professional following requirements found in OSHA's respirator standard (29 CFR 1910.134) and ANSI's standard for respirator protection (Z88.2-1992).

EYE PROTECTION: Wear ANSI-approved safety glasses or goggles in fabrication operations that may generate airborne dust. HAND AND BODY PROTECTION: To prevent drying of skin, wear gloves during exposure to dust or frequently wash hands to remove residual dust. Use hand lotion to moisten hands. SECTION IX - SPILL, LEAK AND DISPOSAL PROCEDURES IN CASE MATERIAL IS SPILLED OR RELEASED: This material is a non-hazardous waste. Dispose of dust or excess material according to applicable federal, state and local regulations. SECTION X - REGULATORY INFORMATION DOT: Product not regulated by D.O.T. Additional Requirements for State of California: Warning: Decorative laminate products contain formaldehyde, a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer. Laminates contain small amounts of residual formaldehyde that may be released in measurable quantities when stored in bulk quantities.
