Comfortable routes take you to wonderful destinations, which alone make the trip worthwhile. The picturesque city of Freiburg is the starting point for your tour. On the other side of the Rhine, Colmar, the capital of Alsace wines, is waiting for you. Through picturesque and typically French countryside, the River Lauch and the many canals flow down the old town with its cathedral, tanners' quarter and the former fishermen s quarter of Little Venice. At the foot of the Vosges Mountains, you cycle along the French wine route, through dreamy villages with many Alsatian timber-frame houses and almost perfectly preserved mediaeval town centers. Mulhouse and its area, the European capital of technical museums, is dominated by the architectural diversity from the middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Gründerzeit and modern times. Enjoy one of the most beautiful and well preserved medieval old towns in Europe: Basel. The Rhine passes through beautiful natural landscapes, the impressive mountain range of the Black Forest, always within sight from the Baden wine route and Freiburg with its picturesque old town. Itinerary Day to Day Day 1: Arrival in Freiburg Arrival in Freiburg, check into the hotels and an opportunity for free sightseeing. Day 2: Freiburg Colmar 55 km The 13th century Breisach Cathedral towers imposingly over the bank of the Rhine. You cross the Rhine here to Neuf-Brisach in Alsace, a 17th century, octagonal fortified town. The day ends wonderfully in beautiful Colmar, one of the most delightful cities on the French Wine Route. World-photos.gr Day 3: Colmar Guebwiller 41 km From Colmar you follow the French Wine Route. The dreamy wine growing villages, with many Alsatian timber frame houses, and magnificent mediaeval town centres in the midst of extensive vineyards are areas for unwinding, enjoyment and simply relaxing. Day 4: Guebwiller Area Mulhouse 35 km From Guebwiller, you ride to Ungersheim, till the Ecomusee d Alsace. From here, the cycle path guides you directly to Mulhouse with its old town full of change. The largest automobile collection in the world and the Rail & Electricity Museum will inspire everyone, not just technology fans. Day 5: Mulhouse Area Basel 53 km The cycle path leads you along the Rhone-Rhine Canal on EuroVelo 6 until Illfurth. Then you will cycle through little villages in the area called Sundgau to Basel. Day 6: Basel Müllheim 42 km The Rhine is ideal for cycling. The day's goal is atmospheric Müllheim in Markgräflerland. In the treasure chest of Bad Krozingen the mineral and thermal springs await you, before the day fades away in Freiburg, the gateway to the Black Forest. The motor is attached to the bottom bracket. The energy supply for the electro engine is retained via a detachable battery, with a possible range of 120 to 180 kilometers. The electro bike is a Pedelec which is an electro bike which assists with electric support only when pedaling. Designed and based on KTM-bikes and modified accordingly for our purposes.
