The three towns are located in the western part of, about 250 km from Berlin. There is an international airport in Babimost. The following teams will play in the Women's U19 WFC: A-Division Group B (Wolsztyn) Finland Switzerland B-Division Group C (Zbaszyn) Slovakia Georgia The final day matches, including the A-division bronze match and final, will be played in the Wolsztyn arena. All the arenas are within approximately 30 km distance. Georgia is participating in the Women's U19 WFC for the first time. Ukraine withdrew from the competition due to financial reasons. The winner of the B-division is promoted to the A-division in 2010 and the 8th team in the A-division is relegated to the B-division. The match schedule is published on the webpage www.floorball.org under Events. More information can also be found on the official U19 WFC webpage www.wfc2008.pl 1.2 EuroFloorball Cup 2008 The EFC 2008 Final round will be played in Winterthur (close to Zürich) Switzerland the 8th 12th of October 2008. The playing arena is Eulachhallen and the tickets will be available in the middle of August.

The 2nd best teams from the top 4 nations will play in Helsinki and Porvoo, Finland the 22-24.08.2008. There are still discussions going on with possible EFCQ West organisers If there is no organiser found for the EuroFloorball Cup Qualification group West before the 15th of May 2008 the EFCQ West is cancelled and the qualification spot goes to EFCQ East. The national champions from the following countries have the possibility to participate in the EuroFloorball Cup. The last day to register for the event is the 31st of May 2008. PAGE 3 1.3 Men s 7th WFC in Czech Republic 2008 The Championships will be played the 6th-14th of December in the Czech Republic. All A-division and B-division group matches will be played in Ostrava and the final days in Prague. The top 7 teams from the A-division and the winner of the B-division are directly qualified for the WFC 2010. WFC A-division: Group A Sweden Czech Republic Italy WFC B-division: Group C Slovenia Austria Singapore Great Britain Group B Finland Switzerland Denmark Estonia Group D Hungary Netherlands Japan USA TV matches The Czech TV will produce eight matches from the WFC 2008. All the semi-finals and medal matches as well as the Czech team's four group matches will be televised. In addition to Czech Republic also Finland, Sweden and Eurosport 2 will broadcast matches from the WFC 2008 and the is also negotiating with Denmark, and Switzerland about broadcasting WFC 2008 matches. Ticket sale & prices: There are tickets available for the final two days in the O2 Arena (previously called Sazka Arena) and for the WFC group stage in Ostrava. The ticket sale for B division play-off games in Prague starts in June. Category 24,- / 28,- Prague - New Sparta Arena: Division B games and Placement games: Day ticket 4,- 1.4 World University Floorball Championships 2008 The 3rd World University Floorball championships will be played in Kuortane and Seinäjoki, Finland the 6th 9th of November. This tournament will be the first FISU event in which both women s and men s tournaments are played. The deadline for the general entries is the 6th of May 2008. Read more from the official WUC 2008 webpage:www.wucfloorball2008.com A player participating in the event must be: a nationality of the country they represent, born between 1st of January 1980 and 31st of December 1990 and, a student who is currently officially registered at a university or similar institute whose status is recognised by the appropriate national academic authority or a former student of the institutions mentioned above who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in the year preceding the event

PAGE 4 1.5 Men s U19 WFC 2009 The 5th Men s U19 WFC will be played in Finland in May 2009. Since there are at least 19 teams registered there is a need for a qualification tournament. The CB decided to give Canada a wild card to play in the U19 WFC if they register before the 31st of May 2008. Directly qualified teams are: A-division: Sweden, Czech Republic, Finland, Switzerland,,, Slovakia, Denmark B-division:,, Estonia, Austria, Japan, (Canada) 1.5.1 Men's U19 WFC 2009 Qualification The Qualification tournament will be played in Kartal approximately 30 km south of Budapest the 10th 14th of September. The following six teams will play in the qualification tournament: Spain, Netherlands,, Hungary, Slovenia and Georgia for 2-3 spots (depending on Canada) 1.6 Women's WFC 2009 2. EUROPEAN MASTER GAMES 2008 For the first time Floorball will be one of the disciplines in the European Masters Games (EMG) that will take place from August 29th - 7th of September 2008 in the Swedish city of Malmö. Floorball players, older than 30 (women) and 33 (men) will get the chance to compete with like-minded people from all parts of Europe. With more than 10 000 participants divided amongst well over 25 sports and about 100 disciplines this happening will not leave any part of Malmö untouched. The playing dates for floorball are August 29th - August 31st 2008. The registration fee is 67 Euro/team member. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games. Games are 2 x 20 min and will be played in Baltiska Hallen, Kombihallen. The first round of registration ends on the 31st of May 2008. Information about registration is found here. Read more from the EMG 2008 webpage www.emg2008.com. The Women's 7th WFC will be played in Västerås, Sweden the 5th 12th of December. Since 24 teams have registered for the event a qualification tournament will be played. Directly qualified teams are: A-division: Sweden, Finland, Switzerland,, Czech Republic, Denmark,,, USA, B-division: Singapore,, Hungary, Netherlands, Australia, Japan, Canada In Västerås the whole tournament can be played in the Rocklunda area. The group matches will be played in two different arenas and the Play off matches will be played in the new ABB Arena. 1.6.1 Women's WFC 2009 Qualification The Qualification tournament will be played in Slovenia the 4th 8th of February 2009. The seven qualifying teams are: Italy, Slovakia, Spain, Austria, Estonia, Slovenia and Ukraine. These teams will play for three places in the B-division.

PAGE 5 3 DEVELOPMENT WORK 3.1 Development Program Seminars The next Development Seminars will be organised in Laustrup,, the 12th-15th of June were the invited countries are Ireland, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Iceland, and. In addition the is planning to organise one Seminar in either or as well as in the USA. More details will be added to the webpage www.floorball.org under Development Program. 3.2 Development material The second part of the three sequel coaching material; Team Tactics is now available on the s website under Materials. Team Tactics - Teaching team tactics in Floorball; Instructions and drills, is the second part of a coaching manual collected and edited by Ms. Anniina Paavilainen. The first part; Teaching Individual Technique and Tactics in Floorball was released last autumn. Team Tactics is giving the basic ideas on how to teach tactics to the players and providing drills. Like in the first part, the topics in Team Tactics area also divided on three levels depending on the skill development of the players. Team Tactics consists of all the defensive and offensive actions in Floorball and the game likeness in teaching is emphasised. 4 LICENSE SYSTEM There will be a new License system implemented for the Member Associations participating in the events. The License system was created in order to direct the Member Associations to develop their own organisations, rather than only participate in International Events. The most important reason is that is responsibility to secure the level and the quality of the sport. It is equally important for the to force its Member Associations to focus on the development of the different functions within the National Associations like building up their own national leagues, recruiting and educating referees and coaches and help the clubs to develop. The License system will be implemented for the 2012 Men's World Championships.

PAGE 5 5 STRATEGY WORKING GROUP The Strategy working group was formed to define the raison d être for, the strategic direction and the objectives for the development of Floorball over the next coming decade. The Executive Committee will act as a steering committee for the working group. The idea is to consider the coming vision and the social tendencies and trends of Floorball as well as the tasks of are in the coming situation, taking into account our social responsibility, our competitiveness and the integration of the sport. The following persons have been appointed, upon proposals from the different member federations: Mr. Renato Orlando, vice president Mr. John Liljelund, secretary general Mr. Thomas Gilardi, RC chairman/suhv vice president Mr. Ismo Haaponiemi, SSBL member service director Mr. Dominique Staiger, DUB president Mr. Lars-Gunnar Tjärnqvist, SIBF president The working group is headed by Mr. Renato Orlando, vice president and Mr. John Liljelund acts as vice chair. The first meeting of the working was held on the 8th of April and the next meeting will be held on the 19th of August in Zürich, Switzerland. 6 TEST PLAY DURING PRE-SEASON Players will have the possibility to test play in another club than the one that owns the players contract during pre-season. The player needs to fill a form, where the player and the club he/she belongs too agrees to the test play in another club and informs the that he/ she will play for the other club in another country during that specific tournament. The player can only test play in two tournaments per a time window and the player has to be under contractual basis. The will coordinate the procedure and there will be a test play fee of 50 CHF included. The time window for test play is the 1st of July 31st of August (excluding the clubs participating in the EuroFloorball Cup). The will produce a Test play form. 7 NATIONAL TEAM REGULATIONS The CB decided to create better possibilities for the National Teams to prepare themselves for the World Championships in December and the WFC Qualifications in February. There will be a possibility to free players for either of the last weekends before the World Championships or the WFC Qualifications. The CB also decided that clubs shall free the players on Wednesday at noon, prior to the International weekends, with the exception of the week-end in November when the players are to be freed on Monday at noon The changes will be implemented to the Friendly Internationals Regulations and the National Team Regulations.
