Leg Two will kick off at 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast nationally on Univision Deportes alongside Red Bulls Radio in English on TuneIn. New York Red Bulls Radio goes live at 7 p.m. ET with trihonda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish broadcast on New York Red Bulls Radio, beginning at 8 p.m. New York began the CONCACAF Champions League Round of 16 with a strong first 45 minutes against CD Olimpia in Leg One. The Red Bulls found a goal off the head of Daniel Royer in the 31st to gain the early lead. Olimpia tallied the equalizer 73rd minute to come away with the tie. With the away goal, New York currently holds the tie breaker if the Leg 2 match were to end in a scoreless draw. It was the fifth time in the last six seasons that New York has begun their season with a draw and third time ending in a 1-1 tie. The Red Bulls are 1-2-1 following a tie to begin the season. Daniel Royer and Bradley Wright-Phillips hit major marks in Red Bull jerseys against Olimpia on Thursday. Royer s first-half goal gave him a goal in all four major American competitions (MLS Regular-Season, MLS Playoffs, U.S. Open Cup and CONCACAF Champions League) to raise his total to 17. It took Royer just 42 games across all competitions to check off a goal in each competition as a Red Bull. Wright-Phillips also accomplished a feat with his assist on Royer s goal as he now has tallied a goal and an assist in all four major competitions. In 169 games played across all competitions, BWP has accrued 100 goals and 20 assists. If New York advances past Olimpia, they will face the winner of Tijuana/Motagua in the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinals. Despite the Red Bulls being in MLS preseason while CD Olimpia came into Thursday on a nine-game unbeaten streak in Liga Nacional action, it was the Red Bulls who looked to be in the superior form. They dominated the first half, holding a 65-35 percent edge in possession and bombarding CD Olimpia with eight shots while the Honduran side didn t get a single shot off. It finally paid off when a splendid cross from Bradley Wright-Phillips found the head of Daniel Royer, putting the Red Bulls ahead. Olimpia came out of halftime looking to even the score, but the Red Bulls did well to weather the storm until Aurélien Collin gave up a game-changing penalty kick. Olimpia s Bryan Moya equalized from the spot very much against the run of play and now both sides have the opportunity to control their destiny in Leg 2. Although CD Olimpia were the home side, the match was played at Estadio Nacional in Costa Rica due to ongoing political unrest in Honduras. Next up, the two sides will meet at Red Bull Arena. 2017 TEAM LEADERS NEW YORK RED BULLS Goals: Bradley Wright-Phillips (17) Assists: Sacha Kljestan (17) Shots: Bradley Wright-Phillips (83) Shots On Goal: Bradley Wright-Phillips (36) Game-Winning Goals: Daniel Royer (4) Fouls Suffered: Felipe (87) Fouls Committed: Felipe (58) Cautions: Kemar Lawrence (7) Ejections: Sal Zizzo (1) Goals Against Average: Luis Robles (1.38) Wins: Luis Robles (14) Shutouts: Luis Robles (10) Saves: Luis Robles (100) 2 NewYorkRedBulls.com 2

OH CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN Luis Robles was named the New York Red Bulls 11th all-time captain and just the second ever goalkeeper. Robles joins Tony Meola as the only two goalkeepers to don the armband on a full-time basis. Robles, who enters his seventh season with the team, has become not only the club s Iron man, but the league s Iron man, having started and played 90 minutes for an MLS-best stretch of 174 straight regular-season matches. Since joining the Red Bulls mid-way through the 2012 season, the Fort Huachuca, Arizona, native has accrued 49 MLS regular-season shutouts, 508 saves and a record of 80-51-43. Robles s 49 shutouts place him tied for 12th with Bill Hamid all-time in MLS. Gamarra, who played for Club Atletico Huracan in South America. The Red Bulls then went over to Europe and was able to get a loanee from Red Bull Salzburg in Marc Rzatkowski. New York opened the offseason by trading for Orlando City SC s Carlos Rivas and Tommy Redding. THE MAIN MANAGER Following Thursday s match against Olimpia, Head Coach Jesse Marsch became the first coach in club history to begin a fourth season. The win over New England on July 5, 2017 was the 42nd of Jesse Marsch s New York career. Marsch moved past previous franchise leaders Hans Backe (41) and Octavio Zambrano (41) for the most career regular-season wins with the Red Bulls. New York Coaches - Career Wins Coach Wins 1. Marsch is just two wins shy of recording 50 regular-season wins with the New York Red Bulls. CONSISTENTLY GOOD The Red Bulls qualified for the postseason for the eighth-consecutive year against Vancouver, the longest stretch among major sports teams in the New York metro area in 2017. New York finished sixth in the Eastern Conference with 50 points in 2017 and achieved a 50-plus point season for the sixth straight year, a mark only three other MLS clubs have achieved. The Red Bulls current six-straight 50-plus point seasons is the longest active streak in MLS history. The LA Galaxy have the only other longest streak, with seven straight 50+ point campaigns. Since 2014, New York has accrued the second most points in the league (217), sitting just two points back of FC Dallas. Along with Robles, Bouna Coundoul (8), Greg Sutton (4), Bill Gaudette (3), Frank Rost (3) and Ryan Meara (2) have also contributed clean sheets. The Red Bulls recorded 33 of their 47 points in 2017 at Red Bull Arena and outscored their opponents, 24-11. CLOSING OUT MATCHES New York s unfortunate narrative in 2016 was that the team was unable to hold onto a lead or allow the opposition to take points away. In 2017, the Red Bulls seem to have changed that narrative. New York is 16-0-9 when leading or tied at the 75th minute mark. (21 MLS / 3 Open Cup/1 Playoff) New York is 7-2 in one-goal matches, including 4-0 at Red Bull Arena. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles has been a stalwart in net since he came to the club in 2012 and Ryan Meara has been an outstanding complement in the Open Cup. Of Robles s 49 career clean sheets, he has recorded 33 of them at Red Bull Arena. He has a career 1.03 goals-against average at home. With four saves against D.C. United on Sunday, October 22, 2017, Robles recorded 100 saves in back-to-back seasons and for the fourth time in his career. Robles picked up his fifth career MLS playoff clean sheet, tallying a game-best four saves against Chicago in the knockout round on October 25, 2017. Robles recorded his 200th career appearance across all competitions against Toronto in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Semis on Oct. 30, 2017. Meara has been huge for Robles as a backup, playing extremely well for New York in the Open Cup. He has tallied two cleansheets in four Open Cup matches this season. Meara recorded a huge penalty kick save against Philadephia to help the Red Bulls advance. Meara has tallied four career shutouts in Open Cup matches. HOME-SWEET-HOME Since Red Bull Arena opened in 2010, the FIRST BLOOD It took just the first competitive match of the 2018 New York was 11-1-4 when scoring first in 2017. During New York s first three-match homestand in 2017, it did not trail one minute of the 270 total minutes of play. INTEGRATING HOMEGROWNS In 34 MLS regular-season matches in the 2017 campaign, the New York Red Bulls have been able to integrate their homegrown players, not just with playing time, but as starters. According to Travis Clark of TopDrawerSoccer, the Red Bulls are atop MLS in Homegrown minutes (7,810). The next closest team is FC Dallas at 6,253. Of the top 10 teams in terms of Homegrown minutes, only New York and San Jose qualified for the playoffs. Five of the seven homegrown players have been given the nod to at least start one game this season. The seven homegrown players combined for just 4,143 minutes through 34 MLS regular-season games last season. In 2017, the same seven players have racked up 7,810 minutes. The 7,810 minutes are the most minutes for homegrown players on a single club in the MLS in 2017. For the first time in franchise history, five Homegrown players made an appearance in 6 6

the same match. Muyl, Adams and Lade started for the Red Bulls and both Davis and Etienne came off the bench. On May 3 against Sporting Kansas City, New York had another first in club history, recording four Homegrowns in the Starting XI, which included Davis, Etienne Jr., Lade and Muyl. The same four guys would start alongside one another again against Philadelphia on Sept. 17. BRACE FOR IT Tyler Adams became the third Red Bulls player this season to record a brace. His brace against D.C. on Sept. 27, 2017 was his first career MLS brace. Bradley Wright-Phillips scored twice in the final five minutes to lead New York past Philadelphia on June 18, 2017. Wright-Phillips recorded his first and the team s first brace of 2017 to give the Red Bulls their first road win of the season. BWP added his second brace of the season against NYCFC on August 6, 2017 at Yankee Stadium. Per Opta, Wright-Phillips 15 braces since joining MLS in 2013 are the most by any player over that time. Daniel Royer joined BWP as the second Red Bull to tally a brace in 2017. The Austrian winger recorded his first career MLS brace in a span of 1:43 against San Jose on July 19. Royer tallied a brace two of four matches during the month of July in 2017. Besides Adams, Wright-Phillips and Royer, Felipe (1) is the only other New York Red Bulls players have recorded at least one brace in their MLS career. BWP CONTINUES TO CLIMB Bradley Wright-Phillips set new franchise records for career goals in MLS and across all competitions in 2016. He passed Juan Pablo Angel s mark across all competitions in one less game and 776 fewer minutes played. In 2016, BWP set new franchise records for career multi-goal games (16), game-winning goals (20) and hat tricks (4). New York was 10-0-6 on the season when Wright-Phillips scored a goal in 2016. For 2017, Felipe started in 33 of 34 MLS regular-season matches, missing just 99 of the 3,060 possible minutes. Alongside MLS regular-season matches, Felipe started and played every minute in both CONCACAF Champions League matches against Vancouver and all five U.S. Open Cup matches. ROBLES IRONMAN STREAK Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles continues to rewrite the history books, setting another all-time MLS mark on March 11, 2017 against Colorado. With an appearance against the Rapids, Robles broke the league s all-time mark for consecutive regular season appearances with his 142 nd. Robles surpassed previous record holder, Chris Klein. He broke Kevin Hartman s all-time MLS record of 112 complete games against Colorado on April 16, 2016 and set a new league record for consecutive starts with his 119th against NYCFC. Robles is the only player in MLS history to start 100 consecutive games for the same franchise. Robles surpassed former Red Bull Dax McCarty at Portland on August 18, 2017 for the franchise lead in starts by a field player or goalkeeper with 164. In three years, Marsch has led the team to the 2015 Supporters Shield, three-straight MLS playoff appearances, 2017 U.S. Open Cup final and a quarterfinal appearance of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League. Marsch was named MLS Coach of the Year in 2015 after his team posted an 18-10-6 record, tied for best overall with FC Dallas, and a league-best +19 goal differential. The 18 wins set a new franchise record, as did 12 wins at home, and 60 points earned. Marsch s side led MLS in scoring in 2015 with 62 goals, and was only shut out twice during the regular season. The Red Bulls also allowed the fewest goals in the Eastern Conference. Marsch opened his tenure with a seven-game unbeaten streak, the longest in MLS that season. New York spent the entire season at or near the top of the Eastern Conference standings, and went 14-5-1 over the last 20 games on the run to the Supporters Shield. Marsch s side was also tough on the road, posting the second-most road wins in MLS with a 6-7-4 record, scoring the most road goals (27) and finishing as the only team in MLS with a positive road goal differential. In 2016, Marsch s side started slow, opening the season with a 1-6-0 run. Despite the poor start, the club went on a 20-game unbeaten run to end the regular season, spanning 16 MLS matches and all four group stage games of the CONCACAF Champions League. The Red Bulls finished 16-9-9, again the best record in the Eastern Conference. During the 2017 season, Marsch guided New York in three different competitions, playing in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals, reaching the U.S. Open Cup final and appearing in the MLS playoffs for the third consecutive season. The Red Bulls finished sixth in Eastern Conference with a 14-12-8 mark. Marsch enters his fourth season with as the franchise s leader with 48 regular-season wins, surpassing both Hans Backe and Octavio Zambrano last season, who each have 41. Before joining the Red Bulls, Marsch was the head coach of the Montreal Impact during the club s inaugural season in 2012. Marsch led the Impact to 12 wins in the club s first season, the most wins by an expansion club since 1998, when the Chicago Fire, with Marsch and current assistant Chris Armas in the midfield, took the league by storm, winning the 1998 MLS Cup and 1998 U.S. Open Cup. Marsch also has experience coaching with the US Men s National Team, serving as Bob Bradley s assistant for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2011 Gold Cup. The USMNT advanced to the knockout round in the 2010 FIFA World Cup and to the tournament final in the 2011 Gold Cup. The Racine, Wisconsin native enjoyed an impressive playing career as well, winning three MLS Cups and four US Open Cup Championships during 14 years in the league with D.C. United, Chicago Fire and Chivas USA. Marsch, an MLS original, made 321 appearances in 14 seasons, scoring 31 goals and 40 assists. He remains among the all-time leaders in Chicago Fire history, sixth all-time in appearances (200), starts (182), and minutes played (16,300). His 19 goals for the Fire are the ninth most in club history, and his 29 assists rank seventh amongst all Chicago players. During his playing days, Marsch played for four Coaches of the Year in Bruce Arena (1997 D.C. United), Bob Bradley (1998 Chicago Fire), Dave Sarachan (2003 Chicago Fire) and Preki (2007 Chivas USA). Along with a successful career in MLS, Marsch earned two Caps with the U.S. Men s National Team. In college, Marsch was a two-year captain at Princeton University, a two-time first team All-Ivy League member and a first team All-American in 1995. Marsch most recently served as a volunteer assistant coach at his alma mater, helping the Tigers to a 2014 Ivy League Championship. 13 13
