Friday, February 2, 2018 Day 1 Order 6 Tomorrow the Key Club is hosting its annual Putt-Putt tournament; this year the event individual or $60 for a team of 4, which includes not only a round of putt-putt, but also a tee shirt, arcade tokens, and a bag of candy. If you have any questions contact Ms. Martin or Kyle Student ID's will not be accepted for next Friday night s home basketball game versus Tampa Catholic. Students planning to attend the game must have a student ticket, which can be picked up on next Tuesday and Wednesday during periods 4 and 5 in the cafeteria. Additional tickets for family and friends may also be purchased on these days. The cost of a ticket is $5 with a 2 ticket limit per student. Contact Coach Rupp with any questions. The hockey team finishes its regular season tonight versus Freedom in Wesley Chapel at 10:00. Good luck Tiger Hockey! Varsity Basketball travels to CCC tonight looking for a series sweep of the rival Marauders. Tip-off is at 7:30. Tomorrow night the Tigers take on Plant, the top ranked team in Hillsborough County, at 7:30. The Tigers need a strong Blue Tide support for both games. Good luck Tigers Basketball!

Wednesday, January 31, 2018 Day 5 Order 1 Intramural action resumes tomorrow afternoon. Students may dress down in Jesuit t-shirt and athletic shorts or sweatpants. Check the Student Life Canvas page for updated standings and game sites. Attention any students who are interested in becoming Catholic RCIA will begin today during 5 th period in the Campus Ministry lounge. If you are interested but unable to attend the meeting, please see Mr. Shoup or Ms. Saade. Last night JV Basketball defeated Brooks-DeBartolo 60-18. The team was lead in scoring by Ryan Weir's 12 points, Freddie Brinson's 11 points and Jake Spoto's 9 points. The Tigers next game is Friday night at CCC. Congrats JV Basketball! Last weekend Varsity Wresting competed against top teams from around the state in the Gene Gorman Showcase at Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda. The team finished in third place, and Ethan Basile went undefeated. Congrats Varsity Wrestling! Last night Varsity Basketball used a total team effort to defeat Brooks-DeBartolo to improve to 17-4. Ryan Radke led the Tigers with 16 points, 6 assists, and 4 steals. Nick Weir added 15 points and 5 assists, and Chris Gomez had 12 points and 4 assists. Andrew Dansoh pulled down 10 rebounds and Christopher Yount dished out 5 assists along with 4 steals. The Tigers now gear up for a tough weekend with a road game Friday night at CCC and then battle Plant Saturday night in the Palace. Congrats Tiger Basketball!

Tuesday, January 30, 2018 Day 4 Order 1 This afternoon there will be a mandatory meeting in the cafeteria at 3:30 for any student interested in playing football. Please bring your ipads. The basketball team travels to Brooks DeBartolo tonight. JV actions begins at 6:00 and the varsity tips off at 7:30. Good luck Tiger Basketball!

Monday, January 29, 2018 Day 3 Order 1 Attention juniors attending the Kairos retreat this week please stay in the gym after convocation for a brief meeting. Attention all members of Student Council there is a mandatory meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 in room 101. Text your grade level president if you have a conflict. Attention all students who have already attended a Kairos retreat please stop by the Campus Ministry lounge today. Last Friday the hockey team defeated Jenkins 12-3. Joshua Burke led the way with 5 goals; other goals were scored by Kyle Repar, Nolan Forrest, Sammy Barranco and Matthew Smith. Paul Coats got the victory in net for the Tigers. The Tigers will be back in action next Friday night at Wesley Chapel versus Freedom at 10:00. This will be the last regular season playoff game before the Tigers begin the postseason. Great job Tiger Hockey! Come support the freshman basketball team tonight as they host Seffner Christian for their last home game of the season in the Tiger Palace. Tip-off is at 7:00. Good luck Freshman Basketball! On Friday night Varsity Basketball decisively defeated Middleton on Friday night to improve to 16-4 and 8-0 in the district. Ryan Radke led the Tigers with 13 points and 5 steals, CJ Holt pulled down 10 rebounds, and Andrew Dansoh had 8 points and 6 rebounds. The Tigers travel to Brooks-DeBartolo tomorrow night and then CCC on Friday night before returning home on Saturday night versus Plant. Congrats and good luck Tiger Basketball!
