Centex points will be awarded to the horse/riders participating in these classes in accordance with Centex Rules and Regulations. No Centex points will be countedby Centex Hunter & Jumper Association, Inc. toward Centex Annual Awards until membership dues have been paid. A trophy and six ribbons will be awarded in all classes. Champion an Reserve titles awarded in divisions with 3 or more entries in each class. In the Hunter Divisions, Champ. and Reserve Champion titles will be awarded in accordance with AHSA RulXXIV, Chapter VII. In the Jumper Divisions, Champion and Reserve Champion titles will be awarded to the two horses which have accumulated the most points in the classes in each division. Jump-offs will be held only for horses tied for first place in jumper classes. All other places in Jumper Classes will remain tied, the horses will be awarded equal points, and ribbons will be awarded by coin toss. Any ties for Championship or Reserve Championship awards in Jumper sections will remain tied and ribbons will be awarded by coin toss. Membership Requirements: ALL RIDERS IN THIS SHOW MUST BE MEMBERS OF THE CENTEX HUNTER AND JUMPER ASSOCIATION, CURRENT DUES ARE $25.00 FOR FAMILIES AND $20.00 FOR INDIVIDUALS. DUES MAY BE PAID AT THE SHOW OR SENT TO THE ASSOCIATION STATISTICIAN. MEMBERSHIPS MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO NUMBERS BEING ISSUED. Entries: The Entry Fee for each class is $20.00 except for Warmup Hunter at $25.00. Entries should be mailed to and made payable to Rio Vista Farm, 1000 Fallwell Ln., Del Valle, TX 78617. There will be a $35 EMT fee charged for each rider entered. Pre-registration requires no obligation, however, a $25.00 late fee will be charged on entries received after 9:00 p.m. on Thursday before the show. Entries may also be called in, faxed to Susan McMorris at (512) 247-2303, or emailed to smcmorris2@gmail.com. Weather Changes: All show date changes due to weather will be noted on the outgoing message at 512-247-2303. If the outgoing message makes no mention of cancellation or postponement then the show is being held as scheduled. Stalls, Feed & Hay: Limited number of paddocks with shelter available from 4 pm Friday thru Saturday - all day - for $35.00. Must be reserved in advance by credit card. Dress: All riders must be properly attired and may be eliminated for improper dress. Hard hats must be worn by ALL riders when mounted. Coats should be worn in all divisions unless management announces otherwise. Prizes: All ribbons and prizes must be picked up by the end of the show on the day of the show. No prizes/ribbons will be saved or mailed. Please ask a friend to claim them for you if you are unable to stay. Changes: The management reserves the right to change, cancel or combine classes, alter courses, and do all things necessary or appropriate to compensate for excessive or inadequate entries. Schooling: Schooling will be allowed in the arenas until 7:45 a.m. on the day of the show. Horses not entered in any classes but schooling will be charged the Ambulance fee along with a $20 schooling fee.
Centex Member Views: Centex members are encouraged to discuss their views with the Show Committee and management. Judges decisions are final. Any comments about the judging must be addressed to the management or the ring committee. NO COSTUMES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE FLAT CLASSES; So ride in your flat class and then get in costume - MAKE SURE YOUR COSTUME IS NOT TOO ELABORATE - WE CANNOT HOLD THE SHOW TO WAIT FOR YOU TO GET IN COSTUME.
