Animals must be registered with the AHS to compete in the Anglo & Part-Bred Arab classes. This show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (BSPS), and all persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in BSPS classes, whether or not members of the BSPS, are subject to the constitution and rules of the BSPS, including the disciplinary procedures, and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the BSPS. Ponies that are placed 1 st in the Heritage Open classes will qualify for the BSPS Industrial Salt Supplies WOW Factor (Winner of Winners) at the BSPS Championship Show. The safety and security of persons and animals attending this show is of paramount importance to the organisers of the show. Competitors and all those attending the show are reminded of their obligations under Health & Safety legislation to adhere to the safety instructions of stewards and officials at all times, and to adhere to written instructions and signs relating to safety, for their own safety and for the safety of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions. Exhibitors shall be responsible for the behaviour of their assistants and riders, and for the conduct of such persons, and all persons in charge of exhibits shall be subject to instructions given by judges and stewards. Anyone not adhering to directional signs and requests by Stewards and Officials will be required to leave the show field immediately. All accidents must be reported to the Secretary s office. Neither Area 13a committee, nor any of its officers, servants or assistants shall be responsible or accountable for any loss, injury or damage to any person, animal, property or vehicle in connection with this show. It is strongly advised that all competitors take out third party insurance on their horses and ponies. It is requested that exhibitors please take their rubbish home with them. The mucking out of vehicles onto the field is strictly forbidden. Competitors in the Working Hunter Pony classes are requested to declare for jumping 15 minutes before the start of the class at the ring Stewards. If competitors do not declare, they will not be allowed to jump. We regret that the rings will not be delayed in the event of classes coinciding. Rings may be subject to alteration on the day, depending on how they are running. Prize money (BSPS classes): 1 st 6 (RIHS 15), 2 nd 3 (RIHS 10), 3 rd 2 (RIHS 5) BSHA classes : 1 st 25 If there are 5 or fewer entries forward on the day in a class, the first prize money only will be awarded. The first prize winner will qualify to compete at the final. If already qualified the second will qualify, if the first and second are already qualified then the third will go forward. The three highest placed prize winners in all Open Affiliated classes will qualify to compete in the BSHA Classic Supreme Classes at the National Championship Show September 2017 The BSHA offer a Novice, Young Rider and Amateur rosette in each Open class and a Champion rosette for each section. The Association will also award an Amateur Home Produced rosette in all Affiliated Open Cob classes. The Cob rosettes have been kindly sponsored by TSG and the Maxi Cob rosettes have been kindly sponsored by Mr & Mrs E McCourt. The awards will go down the line; there is no limit on how many of these rosettes can be claimed in a year. RISING STARS:- Any Exhibitor placed in the first three in Intermediate classes for Show Riding Type or Show Hunter Type may enter the Rising Stars class at the BSHA National Championship Show in September 2017. No qualifying card is required. This show is a qualifier for Equifest 2017: The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the relevant Equifest Championship to be held at the East of England Showground.
