WELCOME / INTRODUCTION STADIUM BMX PRESENTATION Studied for the 2012 Olympic Games France s application, the National Velodrome s building project on the Urban Community territory of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines has developed through talks to become the official National Cyclism Centre. Certified by UCI for international competition, the BMX Stadium hosted several national sports events like the France Championship (2014) and French Cups (2014-2015). The only stadium fully covered in France, it offers practices and competition with optimal conditions for the french and international athletes. The layout consists of four straight lines including two duplicated and three curves coated, on a total length of 410 metres. Equipped with 8 metres mound where is installed a Pro Gate starting grid and another starting grid which measures 5 metres, the stadium can host the biggest competitions from regional to international level. Fitted with a permanent stand of 900 seats, more than 1800 spectators can be host thanks to the establishment of others stands. Inaugurated on early 2014, the stadium also hosts others public users for sports practices or initiations particularly on the pump track which is next to the BMX track. NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT The BMX planet will meet at Saint-Quentin-en- Yvelines After the organization of the French Championships in 2014 and three French Cups (2 in 2014 and 1 in 2015), the French National Cyclism Centre will soon host its first worldwide event : the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup. The International BMX Stadium of Saint-Quentinen-Yvelines will be the venue of the first two UCI BMX Supercross World Cup 2018 rounds that will occur the Saturday, 31th of March and the Sunday, 1st April. Those two World Cup steps will give the start of the 2018 edition of a competition that will include 8 rounds in total. The best riders on earth (more than 250 athletes representing close to 25 countries) will compete on the 400 meters track located near l île de loisirs of Saint-Quentin-en- Yvelines. I would like to thank the city of Montigny-le- Bretonneux, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, the Yvelines department General Council, the Ile-de- France Regional Council, plus the several financial and sport organizations and institutions. They have worked together specifically for this wonderful continental event. REGISTRATION AND RULES REGRISTRATION PROCESS You can enter through the UCI website with this link : http://regonline.uci.ch/_layouts/login_onlinese rvices.aspx?returnurl=%2f Access: personal login and password of each National Federation or UCI BMX Team. All riders must enter through their National Federation, or the UCI BMX Team of which they are a member; no individual entries will be accepted. Only Junior and Elite riders can participate at the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup. Registration deadlines are indicated in the General Race Parameters. The name and the address of the hotel where the riders will stay must be given during the online registration. ENTRY PAYMENTS The entry fee for the 2018 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup is 250 for online registration. After the registration deadline the National Federation will receive an invoice by e-mail, sent by the FFC. There is a possibility to prepay the invoice or to pay on site cash (euros) or by credit card. In case of prepayment, the receipt needs to be taken to the competition. For more information regarding prepayment please contact s.roubeau@ffc.fr LATE REGISTRATION Late registration is only possible through the National Federation or the UCI BMX Team of which the rider is a member. Any late registration must be received before the end of riders confirmation on site which is on the first practice day (Friday 30th March) between 10.00-12.00. The entry fee for late registration is 500 and should be paid immediately on site. Late entries are entries which are made after the online registration deadline and before the riders confirmation deadline. Once the riders confirmation deadline has passed (13.00 on Friday, 30th March), no more late entries will be accepted. RULES The UCI BMX Supercross World Cup is governed by the current 2018 regulation which you can find by clicking HERE. PLATES Each rider will be assigned a front plate by the UCI when confirming the riders. These plates will be supplied by the UCI partner BOX Component and must be used by the riders. RIDER S HOSPITALITY REGISTRATION CONFIRMATIONS Rider s confirmation will take at the Olympic lounge inside the velodrome on the Friday 30th March from 11:00 to 13:00 and will allow : To receive the riders or their manager in order to provide them all the necessary information regarding the progress of the events, the practice, the Tent installations, etc. CATEGORIES LIST OF CATEGORIES Find below the list of categories for the challenge: UCI SX WORLD CUP Categories Women Elite and Women Junior combined Men Elite et Men Junior combined Confirm registrations, deliver number plates and transponders to riders and bracelets, give accreditation to officials Every teams must attend to the rider confirmation. SECURITY The application of the Vigipirate plan imposes very specific conditions of access (palpations, opening of the bags). We ask you to give a warm welcome to security guards and to be patient. TEAMS INFORMATION PARKINGS SITES Parking for teams and riders will be opened in the Ile de Loisirs and will be only reserved for this purpose. This parking will be clearly indicated and will need an identification at the entrance. TEAM BIBS Team BIBs will be provided for National Teams and UCI BMX Teams (1 per team) by the Secretary during the rider s confirmation. This takes place on the first practice day (Friday 30th March) between 11:00-13:00 during rider s confirmation. Teams will be asked to pay a 100 deposit. The team BIBs give access to allocated places explained by the PCP during the Team Managers meeting. TEAM MANAGERS MEETINGS Team Managers Meeting will take place on Friday March 30th at 10:00 am, at the Salon Olympique located on the National Velodrome of Saint- Quentin-en-Yvelines. 27 TH, 28 TH MARCH PRACTICE Practice will be possible on the BMX track on the Tuesday 27 and Thursday 28 March from 16:00 to 20:00. The reservation and the payment will be online on the Vélodrome National website http://www.velodrome-national.com/ at the price of 10 per rider for a 2 hours practice. TEAM AREA TENTS PROCESS A team area for the riders tents will be set up on the multifunctional area. The area will be subject to prior reservation at the price of 750 for 16m² (4m x 4m or 13,1 x 13,1 ). Tents are provided by the organisation and will include per tent : 1 desk, 2 chairs, 1 electrical point and lightning. Details : The dropp-off and the unloading of team equipment can only be on Friday mornings from 10:00 to 14 :00 through the loading dock of the velodrome (followed road sign «Installation Parc Pilote») In case of inability to install before the Friday 30th March at 14:00, all equipments must be brought on foot through the ridersentrance. Equipment removal can be done on Sunday 1st April from 21:30. Every tents must be cleared out by teams before 23:00. The opening hours for team setup will be on Friday 30th March from 10:00 to 14:00. CAMPING PROCESS TARIFS An area will be set up for caravaning (campingcar or caravan) 400 m away from the track at the inclusive price of 30 (for any number of days). There won t be any electricity or sanitary facilities, however a draining zone will be available for campers. Camping will be accessible to settle from Friday 30th March from 12:00 to 22:00 and the Saturday morning from 8 :00 to 12 :00. Departure will be mandatory on Monday 2 April in the evening. For safety reasons, this area will be locked and under surveillance 24/24 by a security agent and a dog handler.
