Participants can only represent one team throughout the challenge, but may participate in multiple activities. All team members must be 18 or older. Scoring Businesses will compete within their business size division. Points will be awarded to all teams in descending order of standing. For instance, if there are 6 small businesses competing against each other in the basketball shootout, the team that scores the highest will earn 6 points and the team that scores the lowest will earn 1 point. In the event of a tie, points of the tied places will be combined and divided equally among those teams. In case of forfeits, zero points will be awarded to the forfeiting team. All the points earned are added to a team point count and the team with the most points at the end of the challenge wins. Pickleball Monday, September 8 th Team of 2. Points can only be scored by the side that serves. Players on each side must let the ball bounce once before volleys are allowed, and there is a seven-foot no-volley zone on each side of the net, to prevent spiking. The server continues to serve, alternating service courts, until he or she faults. Each team must play their first shot off of the bounce. The game is to 11 points or 15 minutes, whichever comes first. Each team plays 2 games. Use non-verbal language to get your teammates to correctly guess the most words/phrases in 15 minutes. Your team will gather in one corner of the room, with the game host in the center of the room. Each team member will take turns being the Emissary/Actor E/A following the same batting order. The game host will whisper a word/phrase to each E/A who will run back (remember it s a race) to act out the word/phrase until answered correctly by your team. Team member two will run back to the host, whispering the answer and getting the next word/phrase. This will repeat through the team member batting order. No sounds, lip movements, clapping, whistling, or pointing to objects in the room. The team who completes the most words/phrases correctly will be the winner. In the event of a tie, a sudden death round will follow. Thirty Trivial Pursuit type questions will be typed out and distributed to each team. Categories will be similar to those in the game of Trivial Pursuit. Each team will be given 20 minutes to answer these questions. Scores will be based on the number of correct answers. In the event of a tie, teams will go into a round of sudden death.
