There are stables available for your ponies and in the near surrounding you can find lodging for the night. (see the enclosed list). We will be celebrating the 50 th anniversary of the Dutch Connemara Pony Society and we hope that we can welcome you all. Please come and participate, enjoy all the beautiful ponies en get in contact with Connemara owners and breeders outside your own country; people with the same passion: the Connemara Pony!. Practical information Saturday, March 25 th, 2017: STABLES: At de Nieuwe Heuvel you can reservate a beautiful stable: - Saturday (from 17.00 hours)+ Sunday (till about 18.00 hours) 35,00 including hay and straw. - Only Sunday 25,00 including straw, hay not included. STAMPPOTBUFFET: On Saturday you have the possibility to take part of a buffet (typical Dutch) from 18.30 till 19.30 hours. The costs are 14,00 per person (drinks not included) PARTY-NIGHT: From 20.00 to 23.00 hours we have a party-night in the lovely bar of De Nieuwe Heuvel. There will be livemusic, a beautiful powerpoint-presentation, our pride, The Dutch Connemara Pony Demonstration Team will be giving a show. And last but nog least we will be presenting our anniversarybook. The evening will be free of charge including coffee and tea, 2 drinks and snacks. Other drinks are for own account. ACCOMMODATION: When you would like to stay over for the weekend it is certainly possible. In the attachment you will find several adresses of campsites and hotels. Practical information Sunday, March 26th, 2017: INTERNATIONAL STALLION SHOW: All class 1 registered stallions can participate in the International Stallion Show. All participating stallions will be divided into equal groups based on age. Per group one stallion will be pronounced as winner. All group winners will participate in the champions class. The International jury consisting of Mr. Tom Mac Lochlainn, Mr. Joop de Jong and Mrs Yvonne Noordkamp-Peeters) will determine the overall champion and the reserve champion. Showing your class 1 stallion in the in-hand class is free of charge. You can enter your stallions until March 8 th. E-mail the enclosed entry form together with a copy of your stallions pedigree and proof of its class 1 status to info@connemara.nl We would also like to receive a description of your stallion(s) for our speaker. Participation on the show will give you the opportunity to present your stallion to a big audiance, including the International Board of the ICCPS. We hope we can welcome as many stallions as possible.
LUNCH: The lunchbuffet will be from 12.00 13.00 hours and the costs are 12,50 per person. JUMPING-CONTEST: Any rider with a pony with a minimum of 25% demonstrably Connemarablood can participate. Stallions as well as mares and geldings. The competition will be held in the covered arena on sand. You can participate in the (dutch) classes B-ZZ (80cm till 1.15cm). You are free to choose your jumping height and jump 1 course. Stallions as well as mares and geldings. The competion will be held in the covered arena on sand. You can participate in the (Dutch) classes M-Z (higher levels). You only can participate individually. Each level (M and Z) has its own list of mandatory movements and paces that must appear in the freestyle, however their order and timing is free to the rider's discretion. Additionally, movements of the same or lower level which are not listed as compulsory may be included to demonstrate the skills and harmony of horse and rider. Incorporating movements of a higher level than the intended level is forbidden. For the M-level as well as the Z-level Freestyle, see the enclosed lists of mandatory movements and paces.
