The course is a mix of flat and undulating, with one good climb to test A & B distance riders. The local countryside has some exposed sections which may be susceptible to wind. The roads are all in reasonable condition with minimal hazards. Route A & B distances Refer to Map 2 and Map 3 A distance riders will ride two laps. B distance riders will complete one lap. As this is a rural/farming area, there may be a small number of trucks using some roads, please exercise caution. C distance riders please slow and use caution when left turning off South Western Highway into Gwambygine Road as turn approaches fairly quickly.

The junction at the top of Beverley Road and York-Quairading Road approx. 5kms before returning to York is a merging intersection. Please take extra care at this junction. The final zig-zag section when entering back into town requires extra concentration, especially as some riders will be continuing on for a second lap. The finishing turn from South Street into Lowe Street is also an area requiring extra care with some riders will be continuing on for a second lap. NOTE - It is the responsibility of all participants to obey the road rules, to follow instructions from event officials, to keep to the left hand side of the road and only ride two-abreast (single file when overtaking).
