LAST GAME RECAP - WARRIORS 124, SUNS 109 Talking Stick Resort Arena (March 17, 2018) -- For the second straight game in a row, Quinn Cook tallied a career high, scoring a team-high 28 points, Draymond Green almost recorded a triple-double with 25 points, and game-highs of 11 rebounds and eight assists and Nick Young tallied 20 points as the Warriors extended their winning streak over the Suns to 13 consecutive games. Phoenix went on a 14-5 run to turn a 36-32 lead into a 15-point advantage, 50-35, its largest lead of the game, with 6:52 left in the second quarter. The Suns held an eight-point halftime lead (60-52), before the Warriors recorded their 11th 40-point quarter of the season, outscoring the Suns, 42-25, in the third quarter to take a 94-85 lead into the fourth. The Warriors led, 117-110, with 2:45 left in the fourth quarter before Green scored the first five points of a 7-0 run capped off by a basket from Cook. Seven Warriors scored in double figures. The Suns, playing without Devin Booker, received a game-high 36 points from Josh Jackson off the bench. The Warriors played their second straight game without three of their All-Stars, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson. ELIAS SAYS: Warriors dominate 3rd quarter again The Warriors lost at home to the Kings on Friday night when they played without Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson. On Saturday night, playing without the same three All-Stars, they trailed the Suns, 60-52, at halftime. But then came the third quarter, during which the Warriors delivered a 42-25 beatdown, and they went on to win, 124-109. It was the 24th game this season in which Golden State has outscored its opponents by 10-or-more points in the third quarter. That s 10 more games of that type than any other NBA team has produced this season; the Rockets stand second in that category, having outscored their opponents in the third quarter by 10-or-more points in 14 games. 2 GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS 2017-18 GAME NOTES

WARRIORS 2017-18 GAME NOTES 30 ASSISTS & 50 PERCENT FG SHOOTING This season, the Warriors have 30 games in which they dished out at least 30 assists and shot at least 50 percent from the field (28-2 record in those contests). Last season, they had a 49-1 record when they accomplished both marks. On December 6 at Charlotte, Golden State recorded 26 assists and shot 47.6 percent from the field, ending the franchise-tying streak of five straight games with at least 30 assists and 50 percent field goal shooting. It had tied the franchise streak of five set last season (11/7/16-11/16/16), according to Elias Sports Bureau. DRAYMOND AGAIN IN THE RECORD BOOKS On February 24 vs. Oklahoma City, Draymond Green became only the second player in NBA history (joining Alvan Adams) to amass career numbers of 4,000 points, 3000 rebounds, 2000 assists, 600 steals and 400 blocks in 450 or fewer games, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. In 449 career games, Green recorded 4,158 points, 3,096 rebounds, 2,007 assists, 605 steals and 490 blocks. Adams reached the milestone numbers in his 446th game with the Suns in March 1981. FROM DOWNTOWN The Warriors have made at least 10 3-pointers in 55 of their 70 games, second-highest total this season (Houston is the league-leader with 67). On January 25 vs. Minnesota, the Warriors made a seasonhigh 21 3-pointers, just one shy of matching the franchise record of 22 (twice, 3/18/16 at Dallas and 11/27/15 at Phoenix). Golden State began the season connecting on at least 10 3-pointers in the first 13 games of the season before the streak was stopped when they made eight vs. Orlando (11/13). The Warriors have an 11-3 record this season when they connect on 15 or more 3-point attempts. In Warriors franchise history, Manute Bol is the only player to have led the league in blocks, averaging 4.31 in 1988-89. This season Durant has 34 games in which he has recorded two or more blocks, the most multi-block games in a season in his career (previously 32 in 2012-13 season). The Warriors franchise single-season record for multi-block games is 70, set by Bol in the 1988-89 season (Elias). Earlier this season Durant had a career-best multi-block streak of 10 games which began (Dec. 6) and ended (Dec. 29) against the Hornets. Prior to Durant s streak, the last time a Warriors player had a singleseason 10-game multi-block streak was Adonal Foyle during the 2001-02 season (Feb. 5-27, 2002). The last Warriors player to have a multi-block single-season streak of more than 10 games was Bol who had a 16-game streak (Feb. 27-Mar. 25, 1989) and a 19-game streak (Dec. 3, 1988-Jan. 20, 1989). Durant had a career-best seven blocks in the win at New Orleans on October 20. He even blocked two Tony Allen shot attempts without his left shoe (11:30 left in the second quarter). Last season Durant averaged a career-high 1.60 blocks per game, 9th-highest in the NBA. Durant became the first Warriors player to ever have 15 blocks in his first four games of a regular season since blocks were recorded in the 1973-74 season (Basketball Reference). Durant s 15 blocks was the highest total for a Warrior player in the first five games of a season since Foyle recorded 16 in the first five games of the 2002-03 season. The Warriors are privately financing the new Chase Center in San Francisco with no money from the City s general fund and no new taxes. Chase Center will not only showcase NBA games, but also concerts, cultural events, family shows, and convention activities. The venue will host approximately 200 events per year. Chase Center will generate more than $29 million in upfront money for infrastructure improvements and expanded transit service for the neighborhood, at the outset of the project. The venue will generate more than $14 million each year in new tax revenues to the city, which will go toward vital services and civic improvements. The project has won approval from all boards, commissions and regulatory agencies, including a unanimous vote at the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. The sports and entertainment district covers a total of 11 acres. The two office buildings stand at 160 feet, and the arena at 135 feet well under San Francisco s height limits. The lead architect for Chase Center is MANICA, with Kendall Heaton as architect of record and Gensler as the interior architect. The district will also feature 100,000 square feet leasable restaurant and retail space for neighbors and visitors to enjoy year round. The public will have access to 3.2 acres of public plazas and open space on-site. Additionally, the project will trigger the creation of a brand-new, 5.5-acre public park on the waterfront, across from the arena. Of the 20 most populous cities in the U.S., San Francisco is the only one without a full-size arena that seats at least 12,000 people. With 18,064 seats, Chase Center will host not only Warriors basketball, but also major concerts, family shows, conventions and a variety of other attractions.
