The advantages of broaching are based on its technical principles: by means of a multi-toothed tool with cutting edges one after the other and graduated in depth of chip thickness. The profile of part can be broached in 1 stroke. Technically other procedures do one tooth at a time. Broaching can do all at the same time. Internal broaching is started from a pre-machined hole while external broaching is to machine a surface profile. Broaching is possible in both directions horizontal and vertical. Contract Broaching Your way for production without great investment. The Karl Klink contract broaching center covers all needs of broaching operations with a great variety of machine types. Manual or automatic loading, as required by customers can be solved economically, starting from lot size of 1 through mass-production. Special purpose broaching machines for dry and hard broaching are available for subcontract broaching and a CNC helical machine with a pulling force of 100 tons for large straight or helical teeth in ring gears.
