Welcome to GPS Welcome to Global Premier Soccer Global Premier Soccer ( GPS ) is one of the largest soccer organizations in the United States, currently active in 21 States across the country and is the official North American Youth Partner of FC Bayern Munich. FC Bayern Munich is one of the biggest and most successful professional clubs in world soccer and has a proven track record of developing world-class players and competing in the highest echelons of world football. Who We Are The mission of Global Premier Soccer is to be a leader in the development and growth of soccer across North America and beyond. We will establish an identity of excellence as we pursue our pathway to success on and off the field, with our primary focus being the development of players and people. We will develop players who can compete at the highest level of soccer throughout the world. What We Do The GPS Player Development Pyramid shows the player pathway of how players progress through the Club: Why We Are Different At GPS we pride ourselves on our professionalism, the care we show to our players and our families, and the respect afforded to each and every player who enters the GPS Family. We want each player to enjoy their time with the club, be challenged in a positive coaching environment and improve themselves as players and as people as they progress through the GPS player development pathway.

New US Soccer youth initiatives to improve player development In August 2015 US Soccer (USSF) introduced new initiatives that will impact all levels of youth soccer across the country. These initiatives will be rolled out across GPS starting Fall 2016. The two key initiatives that will be introduced are: Birth year registration (January 1st cut off) Standardization of Small-sided games These changes are aimed to align the whole country in a consistent approach and provide an age appropriate environment for long term player development. This will apply to all age groups from U6 and older. The change to birth year registration will align with the rest of the world. Standardization of Small-Sided Games 2009/2010: 4v4 No offsides, no goalkeeper. 30x20 yards field 2007/2008: 7v7 With goalkeeper and offside rule in place 2006/2005: 9v9 Field size approx 1/2 size of full 11v11 field. The final transition before 11v11 play 2004+ 11v11 Full field

GPS JUNIORS The GPS Juniors Program teaches the fundamentals of soccer using a fun and energetic curriculum that has been tailored to work with 3-6 year olds. Our curriculum also facilitates the development of motor and coordination skills. All sessions are held in a fun and positive environment, where players are encouraged to play with a smile on their face. EDL The Early Development League (EDL) for birth years 2009-2010, is focused on player development by providing them the opportunity to express themselves in both practice and a game environment. Players train twice a week in technically focused sessions with a biweekly game jamborees against the other GPS Regional EDL locations. JUNIOR PREMIER PROGRAM The Junior Premier Program provides year round training for birth years 2005-2008. Our emphasis is player-centric with development the number one priority. We focus on the technical, tactical, physical and psychological development of individual players on a pathway towards maximizing their full potential. Teams are regionally based and tiered by ability. PREMIER PROGRAM The Premier Program program provides year round opportunities for birth years 2003/2004, with 2002+ joining up with GPS once they complete the High School season. The Program is divided into tiers and players are selected onto teams based on ability, attitude, commitment to the game and what GPS think is best for the player s development. GPS MASSACHUSETTS NPL & STATE ELITE (NEP) PROGRAM Our GPS Massachusetts National Premier League (NPL) and State Elite (NEP) teams consist of the best players selected from the nine GPS regions. Teams are formed at birth years 1998-2005 and train at a convenient central location. NPL and State Elite teams compete at the highest levels both regionally and nationally. USSDA In 2016 GPS were selected to participate in the United States Soccer Development Academy League (USSDA) for the 2004 birth year. Players are selected from our Regional and NPL teams based on their ability, performance and current stage of their development. GPS FC BAYERN NATIONAL TEAM The GPS FC Bayern National team program identifies players boys and girls from birth years 2002-2006 and is comprised of a training and game component that is specific for each age group. Players are invited to attend GPS FC Bayern National Training Centers from NPL, USSDA and Regional teams based on recommendations from coaches.

The GPS Premier Program: Introduction The GPS Massachusetts Premier program is for young players who aspire to achieve excellence in their game. Our emphasis is player-centric with development the number one priority. We focus on the technical, tactical, physical and psychological development of players on a pathway towards maximizing their full potential. The winning tradition that has been established over the past 15 years is based on each player improving significantly over the time they are with the club. All players will conduct themselves at all times in accordance with the GPS Premier Team player code of conduct and all players will be treated as equals. The GPS Coaching staff will be coaches of positive significance in our players lives. Our coaches will inspire and motivate our players in an atmosphere of respect and honesty versus fear and intimidation and players will be encouraged to think for themselves. Success is achieved through building good habits and having players be accountable for their own development. Our Premier Program is divided two distinct phases Junior Premier Program: 2005-2008 Premier Program: 1998-2004 The Junior Premier and Premier Program is broken into geographical locations which provides our players and families a convenient training location.

Early Development League (EDL): 2009 2010 Birth Year The Early Development League (EDL) is an internal team-based program that offers both training and a game day component. Teams will be formed per region/town to provide a convenient option to players and families. The program focuses on technical and tactical player development, using the GPS Curriculum to teach players the key fundamentals of soccer. In addition to the weekly technical sessions, the EDL will also include a league play element, bringing together each of the EDL teams in a structured format for fun, low pressure games which provides the opportunity to express themselves in a game environment and put into action what they learn in practice. Fall/Winter/Spring Program split Boys v Girls Fall/Spring: Sundays - 8 game schedule (Bi weekly festivals) 5v5 games (including GK) Winter: End of Season Futsal Jamboree, 5v5 games (including GK) GPS Junior Premier Program: 2005 2008 Birth Year The GPS Junior Premier Program has a tailored curriculum that will provide players with a fun, energetic and competitive environment focused on individual player development while learning the GPS style of play. Each tier of the GPS Junior Premier Program operates a player pool system. At this stage of a young player s development, there are a lot of variables that can enhance or impact development and we want to ensure that our players are given the necessary support and time to be able to reach their full potential. While we fully understand how winning can positively affect player development, it is a by-product of a solid technical-tactical base and of a club s player development philosophy. The player pool system will provide our coaching staff the opportunity to move players throughout the year to provide maximum opportunity and ensure players are placed in the right environment to maximize their development. Players are split based on ability, attitude, commitment to the game and what GPS think is best for the player s development. Our regional teams will compete in the New England Premiership (www.nepremiership.com) plus both State and Regional events depending on the level of the group.

GPS Premier Program: 1998 2004 Birth Year The Premier program continues to be split by region and provides year round opportunities for 2003 and 2004 birth year while 1998-2002 birth year join up with GPS once they complete the High School season. The Premier Program is split into two tiers only and players are split based on ability, attitude, commitment to the game and what GPS think is best for the player s development. Elite Select The Premier program is for players with a passion for soccer who are aiming to maximize their development and strive to achieve their highest potential. Our regional teams will compete in the New England Premiership (www.nepremiership. com) plus both State, Regional and National events depending on the level of the group. Each tier provides curriculum based on the four pillars of the game - technical, tactical, physical and psychological. There will be less movement between each tier of the program, but the GPS staff reserve the right to move players up and down. Both Elite and Select teams will train side by side to provide connectivity throughout the year. Please note for players in the 2002 birth year moving into 8th grade that GPS will run a Fall season prior to you joining up with your designated team. GPS Massachusetts NPL and STATE ELITE (NEP) Program: 1998-2005 Birth Year Players are selected from our Regional teams based on their ability, performance and current stage of their development. Our NPL Teams (1998-2004) will compete in the US Club Soccer National Premier League (www.nationalpremierleagues.com) with our State Elite Teams (2000-2005) competing in the the New England Premiership (www.nepremiership.com). Our State Elite team acts as a hybrid between our Regional and NPL teams, players selected for the State Elite teams are expected to meet the same requirements as our NPL program. Teams will train at the same geographical location as our NPL program to provide connectivity between both tiers of the Premier Program. Both our NPL and State Elite teams will compete in various State, Regional and National events depending on the level of the group. With each of our tiers the GPS staff reserve the right to move players between our Regional, State and NPL teams based on what we think is best for the individual players development.
