Our latest Nordic range does exactly that, using meaningful innovation to push the sport we love forward. YOUR SKI We think ski choice can be an exact science. So we measure and label each ski in extreme detail. It s the same process we go through for our athletes, giving everyone the ability to match their ski to their individual body weight and the snow conditions they ski in. Guesswork has no place in finding the perfect set up. DIGITAL PAIRING Your skis don t just need to match your body weight; they also need to match each other. We ve developed a digital software that can assess 15 different tolerance parameters to match a left and right ski perfectly for a stronger, better-balanced performance. SKINTEC We offer a full range of Skintec skis giving you excellent kick and exceptional glide without the need to waste time kick-waxing. And all our Skintec skis offer the same advantages: SDS technology to keep the ski high during the glide, but easy to compress during the kick. We use for all our skis the same 100% Mohair skin which works in all conditions. And you can easily exchange the skin by yourself after heavy wear or damage. 4 5

SKI TECHNOLOGY SKI TECHNOLOGY SKI TECHNOLOGY GRIP TECHNOLOGIES LAMINATE A Grip technology provides grip in the kick zone without the need for kick wax. We have three different types: SKINTEC Our high-performance waxless technology, with 100% Mohair skin grip zones, now featured across the range. CORE POSIGRIP 3D Our versatile grip technology used on some of our all-round skis. BASE CARBON RACE MONOCOQUE G2 SYNCRO A grip technology, ideal for newcomers to the classic track. CORES At the core of every ski are the materials that determine how it behaves. We have two different core materials we use in our range: NOMEX LAMINATES An ultra-lightweight material originally used in aerospace. It s structured like a honeycomb for strength, resilience and liveliness. We also use it in combination with Densolite. Laminates contribute towards the rebound and power transmission of a ski. In our skis we use two different sorts: CARBON FIBREGLASS LAMINATE BASES All our skis have high-quality bases. In our Redster Carbon Classic, the carbon chassis runs the length of the ski (except the tip) making it very light and dynamic for extreme acceleration. In the Redster Carbon S9 the carbon chassis runs the whole length of the ski, making the ski lighter and stronger, offering more direct power transmission for fast, dynamic gliding. SIDEWALLS Putting a sidewall on a cross-country ski helps with steering and power transmission. We have two different sidewalls that feature on our high-performance Redster skis: STEP DOWN SIDEWALL With Densolite sidewall or lightwood sidewall for Redster WC Classics. DENSOLITE Light, stable and tough. Densolite is produced in Atomic s own facilities and comes in three variations: Densolite, High Densolite and Ultra High Densolite. This includes its ideal weight range, based on the ski s specific length and flex. The sticker shown below is for a cold ski which is recommended for skiers between 72 94 kg, perfectly suitable for 80 90 kg. In addition, there s a special sticker for Skintec (colour coding grey ).
