KINS BROADCASTIN With 10 Emmy Awards and 18 Nominations, the Sacramento Kings Broadcast Team has elevated its television production to one of the highest levels in all of professional sports. or the 2013-14 season, the Kings Broadcast Team will produce 11 regular season games on News10 and 70 contests on Comcast SportsNet California. Sacramento also appears once on ESPN for a nationally-televised matchup with Detroit on Nov. 15 from Sleep Train Arena. The Kings commitment to providing the best TV experience continues with all telecasts produced in High Definition (HD). ABC AILIATE NEW10 Local ABC affiliate News10 will carry 11 Kings over-the-air telecasts during the 2013-14 regular season, returning for a third time after partnering with the Kings in 2006-07 and 2012-13. COMCAST SPORTSNET: Kings Cable lagship Comcast SportsNet California enters its 10th consecutive season with the Kings, hosting 70 of the team's 82 games during the 2013-14 regular season. Mainstays rant Napear and Jerry Reynolds will return to Kings TV as play-by-play and color analyst, respectively, while Kayte Christensen will assume sideline reporting duties. KHTK Sports 1140: Kings Radio lagship The region's 50,000-watt flagship radio station, KHTK, will once again broadcast all 89 Kings games in 2013-14. The "-Man", ary erould, enters his 29th year (over 2,000 games) as the voice of the Kings. The "Kings Live" pregame show, packed full of interviews and features, rolls through your radio 30 minutes prior to tip. The "Kings Live" postgame show, powered by KHTK Sports calls and locker room reaction, takes you home for 30 minutes after the game. Jason Ross hosts the show. In addition to producing all of the team's radio and television network broadcasts, the Kings also manage all advertising and sponsorship sales for their broadcasts. ARY EROULD Radio Play-By-Play Entering his 29th season with the Kings and having called 2,202 Kings games, ary erould has been the "Voice of the Kings" since the team's arrival in Sacramento (1985) as radio play-by-play announcer on the club's flagship station KHTK (1140 AM). erould is widely considered one of the best play-by-play announcers in all of sports broadcasting. His 2,000 Kings broadcast came on December 8, 2010, versus Washington. He is among the top five in longevity among NBA broadcasters. erould's workload is a direct testimony of his talent and work ethic. In addition to his basketball duties with the Kings, he currently works the $50 million NHRA drag racing tour for ESPN Television. This follows 25 years of covering the Indy car circuit as a pit reporter for world-wide events, including the Indy 500. He has been a part of more than 1,700 nationally televised events, with the 1,500th coming at the U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis. Prior to joining ABC, erould spent 11 years at NBC and was a member of the network's coverage team at the XXIV Olympic ames in Seoul. He also served as a regular NL play-by-play announcer in addition to his motor sports duties. Additionally he was a member of the Turner Broadcast Network telecast of the 1990 oodwill ames in Seattle. erould's broadcasting career dates back to his high school days in Midland, Mich., as a play-by-play announcer for the local radio station. In 2000, he was inducted into the Midland Hall of ame. A speech and physical education graduate of Anderson (Indiana) University, erould headed west to Chico, Calif., in 1963 where he became the news and sports director at KHSL Radio. In 1965, he moved to Sacramento and joined the sports department at KCRA-TV, where he worked for 12 years. During that span he also was the play-by-play announcer for Sacramento State football and basketball. In 1977, he formed ary erould Enterprises and since then has freelanced as a public relations consultant, commercial spokesman, and motor sports writer and broadcaster. He and his wife, Marlene, have a daughter, Beth, and a son, Bob, who also enjoys a career in professional sports broadcasting. 368 2013-14 SACRAMENTO KINS MEDIA UIDE

KINS BROADCASTIN RANT NAPEAR Television Play-By-Play rant Napear enters his 26th season announcing for the Kings, serving as the television play-by-play announcer for the Kings Broadcast Network. The 54-yearold Syosset, New York native has called Kings action as the team's play-by-play announcer from 1988-89 through 1993-94 and 1998-1999 to present, in addition to three campaigns (1995-96 - 1997-98) as the Kings' radio play-by-play announcer on KHTK (1140 AM). He is the current daily host for the top-rated afternoon sports talk show in the Sacramento area on KHTK. Prior to joining the Kings Broadcast Network talent team on a full-time basis, Napear served as the sports director at the then-kings' flagship television station, Channel 31, for nine years (1987-95). Napear's play-by-play experience includes working with ESPN Radio, the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks, the Sacramento old Miners (1992-94), a former member of the Canadian ootball League, and most recently with the San Jose Sabercats of the Arena ootball League. Napear was the television voice for the Oakland Raiders from 2003-07. He is currently a fill-in host for the nationally syndicated radio Jim Rome Show. Napear began his professional career as a weekend sports anchor at WAND-TV in Decatur, Illinois. He spent his collegiate years (1977-81) as the play-by-play announcer for the football, basketball and hockey teams at his alma mater, Bowling reen University, while pursuing his degree in broadcast journalism. Napear hosts an annual golf tournament to benefit the uture oundation which enables underprivlidged students to attend college. Napear resides in El Dorado Hills with wife Starr and two sons, Trent (17) and Chase (15). JERRY REYNOLDS Television Color Analyst Jerry Reynolds returns as a color analyst for all the club's televised contests for the Kings Broadcast Network. The 2013-14 season marks his 29th with the franchise, a tenure distinguished by a multitude of roles. In addition to serving as the Kings head coach for nearly four seasons (1987-90) and Kings director of player personnel from 1994-2013, Reynolds also acted as Sacramento Monarchs eneral Manager for six campaigns (1998-2003), leading the club to the league playoffs four times. Reynolds was also a member of the USA Basketball Women's Senior National Team Committee for the 2001-04 quadrennium, where he helped select the coaching staff and players of the Olympic gold medal-winning USA Senior National Teams. A native of rench Lick, Indiana (where he is often referred to as the second most popular local, first being NBA Hall of amer Larry Bird), Reynolds has a unique understanding of the interaction among players, coaches and the front office due in part to his experience gained through his varied roles with the Kings organization. He originally joined the club in 1985 as an assistant coach responsible for advance pro and college scouting. On two occasions Reynolds served as the Kings' head coach following midseason changes. In 1987, he was named, on an interim basis, to replace former Head Coach Phil Johnson. The following year he took over for Bill Russell with 24 games remaining and stayed on as the club's head coach for the next two seasons. All told, Reynolds served as head coach of the Kings for a portion of four seasons (1987-1990). He also served as the director of player personnel for two seasons (1990-92) before accepting the role as the club's general manager (5/92-12/93). As the club's director of player personnel, he was responsible for keeping abreast of both the professional and collegiate talent pools available to the Kings, while also helping to oversee the club's scouting efforts. An extremely popular figure with both the Sacramento community and the national media, Reynolds is an often-requested favorite on the public speaking circuit. A graduate of Oakland City University (Indiana) in 1966, he received his master's degree in physical education from Indiana State University in 1970. Reynolds and his wife, Dodie, reside in Roseville and have a daughter, Danielle, a graduate of Santa Monica College and son, Jay, a 1992 graduate of Sacramento State University. DID YOU KNOW... KINS BROADCASTIN JASON ROSS Radio Pre/Postgame/Halftime Host Having served in a variety of capacities since 1994, Jason Ross returns for another season as a member of the Sacramento Kings Broadcast Team. Ross has worked as a pregame, halftime and postgame host for both the Sacramento Kings and Monarchs. Other duties include hosting Kings Talk, which is the weekly Kings radio talk show. Ross also serves as gameday statistician and serves as the radio backup play-by-play voice of the Kings. Ross, currently serves as the sports director for CBS Sports 1140 the flagship of the Sacramento Kings. He is the play-by-play voice of Sacramento State Hornet football and has held that position since 1997. He was also the play-by-play announcer for the San rancisco Demons during the only season of the XL. He is the pre-game and post-game host for the Oakland Raiders since the 2010 season. A native of Southern California, Ross graduated from UC Davis in 1994 with a degree in rhetoric and communications. He resides in Sacramento with his wife, Alva, and their 11-year-old son, Jackson. KAYTE CHRISTENSEN Basketball Analyst Kayte Christensen returns to the Kings Broadcast Network as the TV sideline reporter, after serving in a similar capacity from 2007-10. During her previous Sacramento tenure, Christensen's duties included serving as a basketball analyst on the team's pre-, half- and postgame TV show, "House Party Live," and contributing to Kings Radio's weekly show, "Kings Talk." The former WNBA fan favorite's broadcast experience also includes work as a women's basketball color analyst for ESPN and ESPNU (2009-11), social media correspondent for the Phoenix Suns (2011-12) and social media engagement producer for AZ Central Sports (2012-13). The California native earned Big West Conference Player of the Year and All-Big West irst Team honors in 2001-02 en route to being selected in the third round (40th overall) of the 2002 WNBA Draft by the Phoenix Mercury. Christensen holds career averages of 3.2 points (.464 %,.608 T%), 2.6 rebounds and 0.6 steals in 143 contests (27 starts) during her six-year playing career with three teams (Mercury, Houston Comets and Chicago Sky). She's a two-time recipient of the WNBA Offseason Community Assist Award, securing the accolade in 2003 and 2004.
