CHALLENGE MADRID GRAN FONDO TIME TRIAL REGULATIONS DISTANCE The distance of the Challenge Madrid Gran Fondo Time Trial will be 171 Kms with exit at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento (Buitrago del Lozoya) and arrival at the Explanada del Rey in Madrid Río (Madrid). Cancellations or modifications of the route or any of its parts caused by causes beyond the organization, do not imply in any case the refund of the registration fee. In the event of weather or major causes involving the modification of part or all of a portion of the race, the organization may propose an alternative race over another distance and other routes depending on the circumstances, but in no case shall the event be postponed to another date nor suppose the reimbursement of the amounts of the inscriptions to the participants. REGISTRATION, PRICE AND CONDITIONS Registration is personal and non-transferable and implies acceptance of this Regulation. The prices and conditions are those included in the Registration section. An enrollment is considered completed once the payment has been made. No bibs are reserved. PARTICIPATION AND INSURANCE The participation in Challenge Madrid Gran Fondo Time Trial is open to cyclists of any nationality, federated or not, born in 2000 and before. Each participant takes part in the test individually, under their responsibility and has a level of physical condition and sufficient technical mastery to face it and reach the end of each segment within the cut-off times marked by the organization. The organization has a liability insurance policy according to current legislation. ONE DAY INSURANCE Federated cyclists are covered by the insurance of the Federation, while cyclists who are not federated must pay 10 day insurance when registering. 1
START The departures will be every 30 seconds from 8:30 to 9:50 and will be carried out from a launching ramp located in the Town Hall Square of Buitrago del Lozoya. The organization of the race reserves the right to set the starting times according to the number of the race number. Additionally the cyclists must: Pass the exit control before starting by going to your call camera. Carry the bib number (helmet and jersey) provided by the Organization and the chip assigned for the registration of the race. This chip will be worn on the ankle throughout the competition. At the end of the race, you must deliver the chip to the organization. Do not warm up in the starting area or in any part that corresponds to the cycling circuit. CUT OFF TIMES There will be court schedules throughout the circuit that are detailed below and will be from the exit of any cyclist depending on the turn assigned by the organization: - 1st Port of Morcuera (km 51): (2 hours 45 minutes from start). - 2nd Port of Navacerrada (km 88.2): (4 hours 30 minutes from start). - 3º Surroundings of the urb. REGULATIONS Challenge Madrid is refereed by the officials of the Spanish Triathlon Federation and the Madrid Triathlon Federation, and regulated by the Regulations of Challenge Family. PARTICIPANT MATERIAL Each participant will receive a bag from the organization with: Dorsal Adhesives with number three for the helmet and one for the bicycle. Identification bracelet (1). A chip and a ribbon to wear on the ankle. REGISTRATION All registered participants must present the DNI / Passport at the time of registration in the test. If you do not have a license, you must pay for a license (one day insurance) that must be paid at the time of registration. Changes of modality or changes of a participant by another or of a member of a club by another of the same team or club are not admitted under any circumstances.
