Captain & Deckhand CAPTAIN / Ahmet Tornacı Captain Ahmet was born and raised in the beautiful city of Fethıye where he developed his passion for the sea. He has been working in the yachting industry since 1988 and has sailed and cruised extensively throughout the Mediterranean. Before he took the position as the captain of M/S Smile in 2010, he got involved in yacht building and started designing and constructing his own sailing yachts. He is a keen sailing racer, enjoys motor biking, paragliding and of course travelling. CHEF / Murat Gönenli TBC Murat is 39 years old and joined the crew onboard Smile in 2012. He has been an executive chef in high-end hotels and restaurants and can customize a menu for any occasion or dietary preference. Murat won several chef competitions during his career and simply loves the challenge. His cooking and hospitality skills help create the best possible yacht charter experience. Murat's interests include water sports, reading and meeting interesting people. DECKHAND / Tevfik Karakaya Originally from Mugla it was natural for Tevfik to be interested in yachting from a young age, so he moved to the coastal town of Fethiye where he finished Maritime School. Since then Tevfik has done extensive cruising in Turkish and Greek waters and has become an accomplished sailor. His skills have earned him a place onboard M/S Smile since 2010.Tevfik enjoys all kind of sports including football and tae-kwon-do. He is a lovely, energetic person and is looking like being a great asset to the crew. CREW PROFILE
STEWARD /Ali Artuc Ali is from the coastal town of Marmaris and joined the crew on Smile at the beginning of 2013. Having spent a couple of seasons on land where he was educated in tourism management, he decided to continue his passion for bartending and service on a charter yacht. He enjoys listening music and travelling and is a charming and friendly person to work and travel with. ENGINEER / Burak Uysal Burak is from the coastal town of Fethiye and came to work in the yachting industry in 2008. After having spent many years working as an electrician in hotels and resorts along the Turkish coast, Burak worked on famous Turkish motor yachts before he joined his first sailing vessel M/S Smile in 2013. He is a calm and obliging person and is a true support for everyone onboard. In his free time he enjoys mountain trekking and being with his family and friends. STEWARDESS /Reyhan Bilir TBC A delightful hostess, guests will enjoy the pleasant company and professional services of Reyhan. She holds a good level of English, well organized, pays close attention to hygiene and communicates effectively. She offers 2 years of yacht charter experience as chief stewardess, with a background as barmaid in Istanbul. Hostess Reyhan s home town is the breathtaking city of Fethiye.
