Game time is slated for 5: p.m. Central Time. This will be the 5th meeting between the Frogs and Runnin Utes as Utah holds a -4 overall margin on the Purple and White. Utah has claimed six of eight games against the Horned Frogs on its home floor. The Frogs and Runnin Utes can be heard over the airwaves via Big Country 46 AM with Brian Estridge (playby-play) and John Denton (analyst). The game can be seen on The Mtn. Network with Bill Riley (play-by-play) and Joe Cravens (analyst) and can be heard over the Internet via www.gofrogs.com. In Their Last Meeting In their last meeting, the Runnin Utes posted a 6-54 victory over the Frogs at the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum on February 4th. The Frogs held the lead at halftime by a -7 margin, but were out-scored 5- over the final minutes of action. Carlon Brown led Utah with 4 points and rebounds while Kevin Langford collected points and Ronnie Moss finished with 4 points to lead the Frogs. Line of Defense The Frogs will enter the contest against the Runnin Utes ranked 8st in the nation in scoring defense as TCU is allowing opponents to score 6.6 points per game. TCU is ranked third in the Mountain West Conference in scoring defense behind San Diego State (6. P-G) and Air Force (6.6 P-G). During a three-game stretch, the Frogs held SMU, St. Gregory s and Colorado to 46 or fewer points, which marked the first time since the 95-5 season that TCU held three consecutive opponents to less than 46 points after achieving the feat against Rice (), Texas (4) and SMU (4). The Frogs have held two opponents to 9 or fewer points this season in St. Gregory s (8) and Colgate (7). This is the first time since the 986-87 campaign that TCU has held at least two opponents to 8 or fewer points in a game. That season, TCU held Texas (7) and Rice (8) to 8 or fewer points in a game.

8-9 TCU Men s Basketball San Diego State 79, TCU 77 (OT) Last Game - Recap Hometown Talent A mainstay in the TCU rotation in his three seasons, Kevin Langford has been a starter in 89 consecutive games and has posted a double-digit scoring performance in 65 of those contests (9 - Sr. 4 - Jr. - So.). The TCU forward is ranked seventh in the Frogs record books for career games started. Langford collected a career-high 6 points on -of-9 shooting, including -of- from the charity stripe, to go along with eight rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots (including the game winner) and one steal in 6 minutes in TCU s 79-78 overtime victory over Wyoming on January st. For his career, Langford has scored,76 points after collecting 66 points during his freshman campaign at the University of California. The TCU senior notched his first double-double of the season with a -point, -rebound performance against Colgate, which was his second career double-double. Langford became the 5th player in program history to post over, career points for the Frogs on February 8th and now ranks 5th in the all-time rankings at, points. The 6-8 forward needs points to surpass Marquise Gainous for 4th place in the career points standings. Langford ranks third on the all-time free throws made (4) and free throw attempts (59) in the TCU record books. The Fort Worth native is only the third player in program to surpass the 4 free throws made for his career. Tuffy Times TCU newcomer Ronnie Tuffy Moss originally signed with Kent State, but was granted his release and signed with the Frogs after Christian was announced as the new head men s basketball coach for the Purple and White. The Fort Worth product became the first freshman since Chudi Chinweze in - to score or more points in a conference game after he collected a career-high points at home versus San Diego State on February 8th. The Fort Worth standout has proven to be an offensive threat for the Frogs this season as Moss is ranked fourth on the team in scoring average (9.9 P-G). The 6- guard has posted 6 double-digit scoring performances this season - which are the most for a TCU freshman since Corey Santee posted 5 during the - campaign. Good Things Come in Three s The Frogs have made at least one three-pointer in 9 consecutive games dating back to the 997-98 season. The last time that the Purple and White failed to connect on a trey came against LIU-Brooklyn on November, 997. The Frogs have recorded at least one three-pointer in 556 of their last 557 games. Prior to that failed connection against LIU-Brooklyn, TCU made at least one three-pointer in 7 straight games dating back to the 989-9 season when the University of Texas stopped the Frogs behind the arc on February, 99. Frogs Record 49th Victory at DMC With a victory over Air Force on February 8th, the Frogs notched their 49th triumph at the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. In the 48-year history of the DMC, the Frogs have posted a record of 49-9 (.6) on their home court. Over the past seasons, the Frogs have posted a 49-64 (.7) overall record at home with a -5 mark this season.
