Welcome for European Water Ski Racing Championship It is my great pleasure and my privilege to give a few words of welcome to everyone to the beautiful city of Krems on the River Danube in Lower Austria for the 2016 European Water Ski Racing Championships. We always enjoy our Racing on the Danube, but this the first time that we have been based in Krems. On behalf of the IWWF Region Europe and Africa Racing Council I wish all the Competitors, the Supporters and the Officials alike, a splendid week- long Championships, which will commence on August 6 th. I am very aware of the great deal of hard work that the main organiser Georg Forstel, and his team have put into this event and we are most grateful to them for their efforts. It is not always easy to hold such an event at a new venue, and we must all applaud and please support Georg and his team for their work. Our thanks also go to the other local sponsors and agencies that have supported Georg in this initiative. We are all now eagerly looking forward to the Championships and I sincerely hope that everyone will have an enjoyable, competitive but safe Championships in Krems. * Training: free training is only allowed for boats with international registration Don t forget your driving license and boat registration! Control by the shipping police is to be expected! Boats without international registration may only train at the official trainings! Training can only take place in the designated areas! The course is not barred, public traffic has priority! ** All other Jury and Team Captains meeting will be advised by the Chief Judge. Please note Conditions: The event will take place with the involvement of military systems and equipment. EM RACING CAMP - directly at the race side (see annex) There all facilities will be available (water, electricity, toilets and showers provided). Catering, barbecues and the cafeteria of the local club will welcome you. Fees: Camper Tent Local tax 100,- for all sizes of vans and campers irrespective of the length of stay will be payable on arrival. 40,- irrespective of the length of stay will be payable on arrival (one passenger car included). 1,50 per person/night Please note: For parking cars and boot-trailers, spezial areas are to be used. Storage of petrol is strictly forbidden in the camping area! It is Everybody is requested to follow the instructions of the organisation. All reservations have to be made by booking form enclosed: mail: EM2016@wsc-redshark.at Paddock (boat area) On arrival teams will get a designated area to park their boat for the rest of the duration of these Championships. Storage of petrol is not allowed in the paddock! Overnight, all fuel cans must be stored in a locked container! By refuelling the boat please take the necessary safety measurements. Smoking is prohibited in the paddock. It is not allowed to let the motors run on land
Entries Entry forms: These Championships will be held according the E&A Racing Rules 2016. Entry forms are enclosed. Federations are requested to send in their entries by no later than 31 th May 2016 to the organisation Mail: vera.vdbossche@skynet.be Entry fees: In agreement with E&A Racing Council an entry fee will be payable towards the organisation costs. A fee of 50,- per person is requested to be paid upon arrival. We kindly request that all teams provide the organisers with a digital Jpg, bmp picture of boat and team members including names.
