Please note horse and rider combinations are not allowed to enter both the prelim restricted and open sections. *Incorporating Junior section for Children 14 years and younger on 14/04/13 riding ponies and horses of any height A horse and rider combination that is eligible for the restricted classes cannot compete in any other class but they can compete in all three restricted classes if they qualify for them. Intro Restricted, Prelim Restricted and Novice Restricted CLASS 6 Elementary Elementary No. 59 (2010) (20m x 60m arena) Championship Open to all except horse and riders who are competing in the restricted sections. CLASS 7 Medium Medium No. 73 (2007) (20m x 60m arena) Championship Open to all except horse and riders who are competing in the restricted sections. CLASS 8 Dressage to Music (Choose your own level) Open to all horse and riders who are competing in any of the Chiltern & Thames Rider Championships Classes. You can choose a 20 x 40 or 20 x 60m arena at the end of all the other classes. You must hand over your music CD on declaration. Please indicate on your entry (in the commentary section on line) what level of freestyle you are performing and what size arena you need. Horses and ponies may be ridden by two riders on the day but both riders must be CTR members and only consecutive classes may be entered eg prelim and novice. No horse or rider substitutions are allowed. No horse may enter more than three classes at the championships. Rosettes to 10 th place. Sash to Winners including best juniors. Mounted Prize Giving for top 6 placings in each class.
Rossdales Hertfordshire will be sponsoring the rosettes, sashes and prizes Prizes for children a good selection of prizes will be awarded for the children s sections, dependent on entries. If competitors go up a level from qualification to the date of the final, they must declare this and they will be moved up, into a suitable level of class for the final. Veteran horses over 20 years on 14 th April 2013 who have BD points at a higher level than novice but are deemed no longer suitable to perform at elementary and medium level, may apply to the show director, suem@chilternrider.co.uk to ask for special permission to compete in Prelim and Novice Open classes. Please do not enter classes for which you are not eligible. If anyone enters illegally, they will be disqualified. Please note that spot checks will be made to authenticate entries.
