The Mark O Meara Course winds its leisurely way through acres of glorious pastures amongst the dappled shade of the ancient trees. The very different Colin Montgomerie course won Golf World s Best new design of 2004 award and was ranked in the world s top 10 by US Golfers Digest. Take your time When Richard Castles built Carton House for Robert FitzGerald in 1739, it was a good hour outside Dublin by fast horse on a fine day. Back then, Dublin wasn t exactly how it is today. There were no motorways or airports and time meant something different. So, you ll be very relieved to know that you ll reach us a good deal quicker if you re coming from Dublin City Centre. By the time you re turning off the N4 to Celbridge West, you re just a few minutes away. If you re coming from the west, take the N4 to Dublin, leave at the Celbridge West exit and follow the signs. Be sure to take your time on the Carton House driveway. You ll enjoy the scenery and we ll be waiting to give you a warm reception.
