Host City The Austrian Swimming Federation welcomes all participants of the Multinations Junior Swimming Meet in Graz! The host town is the second-largest city in Austria after Vienna and the capital of the federal state of Styria (Steiermark). Divided into 17 districts, it has a lovely inner city which is one of the best preserved old centres in Europe. Baroque buildings, idyllic inner courtyards and futuristic art join together in the area. Despite of the cultural value, Graz is also known as active city. Due to the stadiums and sport halls the right basic conditions for various sport clubs and events are offered.
Venue Pool The competition takes place at: AUSTER: Sport and Wellness pool Janzgasse 21, 8020 Graz, AUSTRIA Tel: +43 316 887 3379 freizeit@holding-graz.at www.freizeitgraz.at Built with-in 18 month and opened early 2011, it is the biggest Sport pool in the South of Austria. It represents one of the most significant investments of the town Graz besides being an architectural highlight of the city. Key facts Second biggest sport pool in Austria besides Vienna Stadthalle. It is in line with the international competition requirements for water sports. 50m pool with 10 lines (2,5 Mio liter water, which takes 5 days to be filled) It holds a start-bridge, which can be moved to separate the pool into two parts. Besides 25m distance for short course events, it can be used to separate the pool at any distance to offer parallel training possibilities for multiple user groups. There are up to 800 seats for visitors 5m diving platform (5m, 2x3m and 2x1m) Beginners pool LED lightning flexible on colours Opening hours are: Mon Sun 7:00 to 22:00

Transfer Transfers between hotel and pool as well as the round trip to Graz Airport/ Railway Station are included in the daily package and will not cause additional costs for our visitors. Any other pick-up can be organized on demand against fee. Transfer between Vienna International Airport and Graz Railway Station can be provided for 50,--/person (direct train). Technical Meeting The technical meeting will take place at the pool on 23 rd of March at 20.00 p.m. Official Dinner The organisation committee will invite for an official dinner on the 24 th of March at 07.30 p.m. The location where the official dinner will take place will be announced at the end of the technical meeting. General Information Training: Friday, 23 rd of March from 06.00 p.m. 08.00 p.m. Age groups: Boys: 2000 & 2001 Girls: 2001 & 2002 Rules: Contest rules: Awards: Costs: The competition will be held under FINA rules. The meeting will be held according the Multinations Tournament Rules, updated at LEN Congress 2017 First three swimmers boys and girls in each event will be awarded medals. All participating Federations will receive a cup. Each team is responsible for its own travel and lodging expenses. Entries & deadlines: Preliminary entries till 10.02.2018 Final entries till 10.03.2018 Sport entries* till 15.03.2018 Sport entries: After the preliminary entries the Austrian Swimming Federation will send you a handout and a link to send your sport entries. Any changes of the sport entries are allowed till the end of the technical meeting. Name of relay members must be handed out till 15 min before the beginning of the first heat of a session.
