Tips for Leg 1 The briefcase is the baton. Remember to pass the briefcase to your Leg 2 teammate. Take note of the colour of your bib. Your Leg 2 teammate will be waiting for you at the corresponding waiting zone by the Leg changing area.
Leg 2 THROUGH THE WRINGER Leg 3 Waiting Area: Statue Square
Tips for Leg 2 Run through a giant wringer along Chater Road. When you are inside the giant wringer along Chater Road, don t push other participants. Don t skip the giant wringer along Chater Road or your team will be given a 30-second time penalty! Remember to pass your briefcase to your teammate.

Leg 3 CRACK THE CODE Leg 4 Waiting Area: 2/F Landmark Atrium Alexandra House (1/F To 2/F) MIND YOUR HEAD!
Tips for Leg 3 Mind your head when you approach the footbridge linking Prince s Building and Alexandra House. Never overtake others while you are on an escalator. You must remember three numbers to unlock a combination lock on a container. Don t forget to pick up the Cheese inside the container and put it in a designated collection point before moving on or you will incur a 3- minute time penalty. Remember to pass your briefcase to your teammate.
Leg 4 PATCH IT UP Leg 4 Waiting Area: 2/F Landmark Atrium Alexandra House (2/F To 1/F) This escalator will be moving. You must remain on the same step all the way down the escalator or else you may incur a 30- second time penalty!
Leg 4 PATCH IT UP Leg 5 Waiting Area: Chater Road Footbridge 1/F Alexandra House
Tips for Leg 4 Never overtake others while you are on an escalator. You must remain on the same step of a moving escalator. Otherwise, you will incur a 30-second time penalty. Remember to pick up two bandages of different colours and stick them on the Chinese wok carried by your Leg 5 teammate. Remember to pass your briefcase to your teammate.
Leg 5 PICK YOUR PATH Moving escalator! This time it is moving upwards. You must remain on the same step all the way up the escalator. Otherwise, you may incur a 30-second time penalty! Leg 6 Waiting Area: 3/F One Exchange Square
Leg 5 PICK YOUR PATH The Rotunda, Exchange Square
Tips for Leg 5 The escalator going up to The Rotunda will be moving. Again, you must remain on the same step all the way up the escalator. Otherwise, you will incur a 30- second time penalty. Remember to pick up a wedge of cheese at the Open Plaza. Don t forget to pass through the narrow spaces of a designated walkway and place the cheese at the collection point at The Rotunda according to your team number.
Leg 6 KEEP YOUR COMPOSURE Leg 6 Waiting Area: 3/F One Exchange Square Moving escalator! The escalators are moving downwards. You must remain on the same step all the way down the escalators. Otherwise, you may incur a 30-second time penalty! Leg 7 Waiting Area: Connaught Place
Tips for Leg 6 Never overtake others while you are on an escalator. You must remain on the same step on a moving escalator. Otherwise, you will incur a 30-second time penalty. Don't forget to cross the single-plank bridge outside Jardine House or you will incur 30-second time penalty.
Leg 7 CLIMB TO THE TOP Leg 7 Waiting Area: Connaught Place Moving escalator! This time it is moving up. You must remain on the same step all the way up the escalator. Otherwise, you may incur a 30-second time penalty! Leg 8 Waiting Area: Chater Road
Tips for Leg 7 This is the longest of the eight legs. You are required to change a newspaper and pick up a coffee mug. The escalator going up in Jardine House will be moving. Again, you must remain on the same step all the way up the escalator. Otherwise, you will incur a 30-second time penalty.
Leg 8 TAKE CHARGE Main Stage Leg 8 Waiting Area: Chater Road
Tips for Leg 8 Please make sure you wear your number bib on the front of your shirt. Your bib has a timing chip embedded and is also how your team s race time will be determined, so please ensure that it is securely fastened. You must navigate and pick up a Mr Rat flag from the giant cheese obstacles on Chater Road. You must step on the timing mat at the finish line to complete the race. Don t forget to return your briefcase at the designated area behind the stage.
