The Wildcat Band & Kik Kat Drill Team represented Palestine ISD in the Christmas Parade of Lights in downtown Palestine on Saturday, December 2nd The Palestine High School Band and Choir will entertain with musical celebrations of Christmas next week at Palestine High School in the Auditorium. The Choir Christmas Concert will be held on Monday, December 11th at 6:30 pm. The Band Christmas Concert will follow on Tuesday, December 12th at 6:30 pm. 6:30p PISD Band Christmas Concert Friday, December 15 5:00p Girls JV/V Basketball vs. Diboll (Home) Elem. Come visit the Wildcat Golf Course and relax with a hayride and some old fashioned country fun. PISD Administrators enjoyed distributing incentive checks to staff this week. We are excited to kick off the new school year with a full athletic calendar. Our student athletes have worked hard in preparation for the new season. Cross Country is ready for their first meet in Union Grove on Saturday, Volleyball is in full swing with the varsity team competing in the Groesbeck tournament today and tomorrow, Team Tennis hosted their first home match of the season on Thursday, and varsity football will kick off their Boys season Basketball: on September 1 st versus Mabank. We encourage our fans to come out and support all our fall sports. Our JVA team won in exciting fashion coming from behind in the 3rd set to win (15-25, 25-16, 25-20)! Our Girls varsity Basketball girls showed heart and fight in their 5 game match with Alba-Golden. We came up short, but very proud of the Varsity effort the defeated girls gave Corsicana (26-24, 56-35 15-25, 25-23, 22-25, 12-15). We will be playing in the Groesbeck tournament this Friday and JV Saturday! defeated Corsicana 20-26 Freshman lost to Corsicana 22-33 Upcoming Basketball: Varsity will travel to the East Texas Shootout Tournament in Brownsboro this Thur-Sat.
