14th Wind, Rain or Shine ISI Team Competition ISI Endorsement # 3112-2017 Eligibility: This Competition is open to all individual ISI members. Membership must be current through October 8, 2017. All skaters must represent a current ISI Administrative Member. Proof of ISI membership is required for all competitors. Skaters may only compete at their highest test levels registered with ISI by September 6, 2017. Registration: Competitors are required to check-in at the registration desk at least one hour before their first event. Proof of ISI membership should be presented at this time. Competition Standards: The Wind, Rain or Shine Competition will be using rules and regulations provided in the most current edition of the ISI Handbook and any Rule Revisions. Rule Revisions are available on the ISI website www.skateisi.com. All skaters, coaches and parents should be familiar with the performance rules for each event. Entry Forms and Entry Deadline: Complete the entry form in its entirety and give to your team coach to be checked, signed and mailed. Make checks payable to PMFSC. All entries must be postmarked on or before Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Late entries must be approved by the Competition Director before mailing. There will be a $30.00 late fee charged to all late applications that are accepted. There will be no refunds. Music is to be turned in at the Judge s meeting Friday night. Awards: Awards will be given during the resurface following your event. Medals will be awarded for first through sixth place. Team Point Trophies will be presented at the end of the competition for first through third place. 14th Wind, Rain or Shine ISI Team Competition Solo Compulsory Moves Maneuvers will be performed with few connecting moves and minimal choreography. The duration of the program should not exceed one minute. There should be only one attempt per element. Additional maneuvers, such as any jump, spin or gliding maneuver from a test level or any uncaptured move are not allowed. There is no penalty given for the quantity of swizzles, wiggles, strokes or crossovers performed in the Pre-Alpha - Beta levels. Only the quality of these maneuvers is judged. Pre-Alpha (1/2 Ice) 1. The first skater performs their choice of a required jump two times, followed by the second skater performing their choice of a required spin two times. Only the best attempt of each required element will be judged. Only the technical accuracy of the required jump is judged; the difficulty of the chosen element is not considered during judging of this event.
