Vice President Chuck Heretta For my 11 th article in 2017, I would simply like to ask that you join us for the Christmas Party on December 16 th. Don t forget to bring a White Elephant gift for the exchange who knows you may take home the highly collectible CHICKEN LAMP!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Chuck MEMBERSHIP Twenty-six members and one visitor were present at the November 7, meeting at the Venue, we ordered our dinners from the Firehouse Grill. Our next meeting will be Monday Dec. 4 at the Venue, we will be ordering from Danny Boys. Many of the members brought pillows to our member, Jackie Houk, for her to deliver to the charity, ACCESS. I am not sure how many pillows Jackie got but her car seemed pretty full. I want to thank the members for their generosity toward those who are less fortunate then ourselves. ACCESS will be the recipient of our Christmas donation. At the Christmas Party, Sat. December 16, we will collect at least $5.00 from each member - the club will then match the funds. The Flyer for the Christmas Party is in the newsletter last month and this month. I passed around a sign up sheet in November and will again pass it around at the December meeting. We already have about 26 who will be attending. The club will provide Ham, Beef Brisket and Lasagna. There will be pop and water available. This is a BYOB party. I need you to think about what kind of a side dish you will bring to the dinner and let me know so that we do not have 3 dishes of scalloped potatoes and no other kind of side dish. Appetizers, salads, hot or cold vegetables, and potatoes are all good choices. Don't forget that most of us have a sweet tooth so desserts are needed also. We will meet in the afternoon to decorate the Hall, many of you have already signed up. The party will start at 5:30 for social time. The dinner will be served at 6:30. DONT FORGET YOUR WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT for the gift exchange. A White Elephant gift is something that your Great Aunt Edna got you (kind of like Ralphie's pink bunny onesie pjs).
