GAME 1 STICK IT ON THE BODY PART This action-packed game of Stick it on the Body Part is all about learning and remembering the different body parts that will be used throughout my super active sports activity course. The object of the game is to get each of my body parts into the correct places on the giant poster. Switch on those super fast trainers, and wait for the numbers being called out, 3-2-1 and then GO. If playing this game with friends, the first to complete my body parts puzzle in the quickest time is the winner! This game is great for developing locomotor skills, fitness, body awareness, and positive self-esteem. Kids Coach Jason body parts puzzle (printable) A camera (to take some super FUN pictures) A 1 metre piece of string or rope (or 2 cones) Kids Coach Jason body part sticker sheet (printable) Kids Coach Jason cut-out body parts sheet (printable) Pack of A4 plain white paper or card Sellotape & scissors Double-sided sticky tape Print out my Kids Coach Jason body parts puzzle (A2 or A4 version) on plain white paper or card. For the A2 version of the puzzle use sellotape to stick the (x4) A4 sheets together. Print out my Kids Coach Jason cut-out body parts sheet on plain white paper or card and cut out each body part. Stick the body parts puzzle on a window (if indoors), a door, back of a chair, or even on the garden shed if playing this game in the garden. Place the 1 metre string, rope or 2 cones a short distance away from the puzzle. This will be the start line. Place my cut-out body parts at the side of the start line. Put some double-sided sticky tape on the back of my body parts (so these can be stuck to my puzzle). Make sure the child is stood behind the start line, ask them to switch on their superfast trainers and call out 3-2-1 GO!. 10. On GO the child must pick up a body part and run as fast as they can to the puzzle. Once at the puzzle, they must figure out whereabouts the body part goes on my puzzle sheet. Once a body part has been positioned in the correct place, the child runs back to the start line as fast as they can to pick up another body part. The game stops once all the body parts have been placed in the correct positions.

GAME 2 BALLOONING AROUND Yes, you guessed it; this game is all about balloons! Keep me and my two super healthy character balloons in the air with your hands, feet, head, knees and get to the corner the quickest to become the Ballooning Around champion. It s super fun this game, super exciting, and a great way to keep active! This game is great for developing object control, fitness, listening skills, positive self esteem and social skills. A pack of multi coloured balloons Kids Coach Jason, FI & T-NESS character cut-out sheet (printable) Kids Coach Jason balloon sticker sheet (printable) A camera (to take some super FUN balloon pictures) FI balloon sticker sheet (printable) T-NESS balloon sticker sheet (printable) Pack of A4 self adhesive paper Sellotape and scissors CD player & music Print out the Kids Coach Jason, FI, and T-NESS balloon sticker sheets. Follow the steps on the balloon sticker sheets for cutting out and sticking the balloon stickers on a balloon. Clear a large enough space to play this game safely. Cut out the characters on the printable character sheet and stick x1 of each character in different corners of a room, garden, or hall. The child(ren) must then pick which character balloon they want to use for the game. Before the music plays the adult calls out what part of the body the child(ren) must keep the balloon up in the air with i.e. hand, feet, head. Play the music and everyone who is in the game has to keep the balloon in the air for as long as possible. When the music stops, everyone has to get to the corner that matches their balloon as quickly as possible, using either their hand, feet, or head to keep their balloon in the air. Whoever gets to the corner first is the winner of round 1; continue the game for a few rounds.

GAME 3 THE FIND IT FAST GAME Game 3, The Find it Fast Game, is all about finding the hidden fruit as quickly as possible and being the fastest to sit on the chair in the middle of the circle to win the round. Being superfast and remembering which colour is for which fruit is key to winning this high energy game! Once you ve grabbed a partner to play this game with, we re ready to start! This game is great for developing object, colour, shape recognition, locomotor skills, fitness and positive selfesteem. A chair or hoop A whistle A set of cones or 12 different small objects (e.g. plastic bottles) A camera (to take some super FUN pictures) Cut out fruit (printable) Colour stickers (printable) Sellotape Place x12 different objects or cones to form a circle in a large space e.g. the garden. If using plastic bottles, Sellotape the coloured stickers on the plastic bottles (mix them up). You will need to print out x3 of these sheets so there are x3 of each coloured object i.e. 3 red, 3 green, 3 yellow and 3 orange in the circle. Place a chair or hoop in the centre of the circle. When the whistle blows, the children walk around the circle (or hop, skip or run). When a cut-out fruit card is held up the child must recognise the colour and try to find the fruit (under the correct coloured cone) as fast as they can, pick it up and sit on the chair. The first child to sit on the chair with the correct fruit is the winner of round Play a few rounds to see who is the Find it Fast champion!

GAME 4 THROW IT IN THE BIN TO WIN This exciting throwing game is all about listening for the coloured cones being called out, finding the colours super quick, picking up the ball by the correct coloured cone, then aiming and throwing the ball into the bin. If playing against a partner make sure you get to the coloured cone first and throw the balls into the bin to WIN! This is a great game for developing object control, locomotor skills, fitness, object, colour, shape recognition and positive self-esteem. A set of cones (x12) or x12 empty plastic bottles A camera (to take some super FUN throwing pictures) A large bin, basket, or laundry basket Colours stickers sheet (printable) x12 Small balls (or x12 pairs of socks) Scissors Place the cones in a circle making sure the colours are spaced out, i.e. red, yellow, green, blue, red, yellow, green, blue, etc, etc. Place the bin, basket, or laundry basket in the middle of the circle. Place a small ball or pair of socks at each cone around the circle. Get the child to stand by a cone ready to hear the first colour. Once a colour is called out the child must run to that coloured cone as quickly as they can, pick up the ball, and do an underarm throw to try to get the ball into the bin. Once the child has thrown the first ball they must then check to see if there are any more balls by the coloured cone that s been called out. If there are other balls, they must also be thrown in to the bin with an underarm throw. Once all the balls have been thrown into the bin, the next colour is then called out. 1 1 If a child doesn t manage to get a ball into the bin with a throw, get them to move on to the next cone of the same colour. 10.The game finishes once all the balls have been thrown. Count up all the balls in the bin to get a score. Get them to try to beat this score the next time they play. To have 2, 3 or even 4 children (friends) play against each other, get the children to start off at the same cone at the start of the game and get them to wait for the first colour to be called out. Once the colour has been called out it s a race to get to the coloured cones first for the first chance to throw the balls into the bin to win.

GAME 5 THROUGH THE GATE CHALLENGE So far, we ve been superfast, we ve aimed and thrown balls, we ve recognised different colours, and we ve used our hands and other body parts to keep balloons in the air. Now we re going to use our feet to complete the Through the Gate Challenge. Grab a ball and we re ready to get started! This game is great for developing object control, locomotor skills, fitness, stability, and positive self-esteem. x1 Football or ball x12 Large cones (or 1 litre bottles) Character sheet (printable) Sellotape and scissors Find a large clear space e.g. garden or field. Print out my character sheet, cut out the characters and colour in. Place x2 cones together (about 1 metre apart) in a space to form a gate. Pair up the remaining cones to form gates and place in the space. Take x2 of the same character cut-outs and stick them on x2 of the cones (1 on each cone). Each set of x2 cones will have a character on, i.e. me, FI or T-NESS. Call out a character name for the child, and the child then has to find the x2 cones with the character on and run through that gate as quickly as possible. Once the child has had a few goes at this and they have got the hang of it, the child then does exactly the same thing but this time they have to try and dribble the ball through the gate with their feet. This game is so much fun when playing against friends, the first through the gate when a character is called out gets the points.

GAME 6 KICK FOR DISTANCE How far can you kick a rugby ball? This game is all about kicking a rugby ball as far as you can, really, really far! Play this game with a friend to see who is the rugby-kicking champion. Grab a rugby ball and let s get kicking! This game is great for developing object control, stability, locomotor skills, fitness, and positive self-esteem. x1 Small cone Kids Coach Jason distance markers (printable) A camera to take some super FUN rugby-kicking pictures x7 Tall cones (or x7 plastic bottles) Sellotape & scissors Kids Coach Jason ball markers (printable) x1 Foam rugby ball Find a large, clear space e.g. the back garden, a local park, or field will be great. Print out both my Kids Coach Jason ball markers and distance markers and colour in, then cut out. Place x2 large cones about x2 metres apart and x1 small cone in the middle of both cones. Then place the rugby ball on the small cone. Sellotape my 1m, 2m, 3m, 4m, and 5m distance markers to the tall cones (or plastic bottles) and place 1m, 2m, 3m, 4m and 5m s from the ball on the cone (alongside). The child should stand approx 2 metres back from the rugby ball and on GO, the child takes a little run up and attempts to kick the bottom of the rugby ball to try and get it in the air and as far as they can. Wherever the rugby ball lands, mark with one of my Kids Coach Jason markers. The child keeps trying to see if they can beat their furthest kick. Play against a partner to see who can kick the rugby ball the furthest.

GAME 7 CANNON BALL LAUNCH Load the cannon balls into the cannons, aim and then fire at the targets in the distance. Try to get as many of the numbered targets down as you can. For extra fire power, get a friend to line up their cannon ball launcher at the side of yours and then fire the cannons together on 3-2-1 GO! GO! GO! This game is great for developing object control, stability, object, colour, shape recognition and positive self-esteem. A camera (to take some super FUN pictures) Kids Coach Jason cut out numbers (printable) Scissors x10 large cones or plastic bottles x1 Large ball Place x10 cones in a line with a little space in-between each cone. Print out my Kids Coach Jason numbers sheet, colour in and cut out. Stick one cut-out number on each of the cones (they don t have to be in order, mix them up). Get the child to stand about 2-3 metres from the lines of cones (further back for older children). A number is then called out e.g. 5; the child must then try to knock the number 5 cone down by rolling the ball at the cone (launching the cannons). Get the child to load the cannon by opening their legs and placing one hand on each side of the ball. To launch the cannon the child must bring the cannon-ball back and then forward as fast as they can, and let go of the ball. Before the child launches the cannon ball shout 3-2-1 launch!! Once the cone has been knocked down, another numbered cone is then called out e.g. To make this game even more fun, get the child to play against a partner. The first to knock the correct cone down gets 1 point. The game finishes when all of the numbered cones have been knocked down by the cannon balls.

GAME 8 HIDE IT & FIND IT This super fun game of Hide it & Find it needs those superfast trainers fully charged! On GO run as fast as you can to a cone, lift up the cone and try to find the characters that may be hiding underneath. Not all the cones have characters hiding underneath so try to look underneath every cone and try to remember which cones you ve looked under! This game is great for developing locomotor skills, fitness, object, colour and shape recognition and positive self-esteem. A camera (to take some super FUN pictures) Scissors x15 x20 Cones (or 15-20 small empty boxes) Cut-out character sheet (printable) A timer Place 15 20 cones in a large space (all spaced out). Print out the character sheet and cut out the characters. Ask the child to cover their eyes whilst the characters are hidden underneath some of the cones. The child should then uncover their eyes once the cut-out characters have been hidden (no peeping). Countdown from 5-4-3-2-1 and then GO. On GO, the child tries to find as many characters as they can by looking underneath 1 cone at a time. If there isn t anything underneath a cone, the cone should be placed back down, and the child can then look underneath another cone. Once a character has been found, the child should keep it in their hand. The child must find all the characters in the quickest time possible. To make this game more fun, play it with friends to see who can find the most characters in 1 minute.

GAME 9 RAPID RACING CARS Put on your racing goggles and helmet, start up your engines and take your rapid racing car for a practice drive around the track. Keep your eyes on the lights, green is GO FAST, amber is GO SLOW, and red is STOP your racing car. Drive your car to the starting line for the race to begin! This game is great for developing locomotor skills, object, colour and shape recognition, fitness and positive self-esteem. Clear a large enough space. Print out the Rapid Racing Cars helmet and goggles and steering wheel and follow the instructions (children can colour their own helmet, goggles and steering wheel with the colour-in version). Print out the start and finish signs and stick the flag-sticks to the signs with Sellotape (children can colour their own start and finish signs with the colour-in version). Print out the GO FAST, GO SLOW, AND STOP discs and follow the instructions (children can colour their own GO FAST, GO SLOW, and STOP discs with the colour-in version). Get the child(ren) to put on their Rapid Racing Cars goggles and helmet and get them to have two hands on their steering wheels. Once the child(ren) are in a space, have their goggles and helmet on and have two hands on their steering wheel, get them to start their engines. Show the child(ren) the coloured discs - GO FAST (green), GO SLOW (amber) and STOP (red) and tell the child(ren) that whenever they are driving, they must keep looking to see which coloured disc is being held up. i.e. if the green disc is being held up, they can go fast in their racing car. To start the game, raise a coloured disc in the air e.g. amber (GO SLOW). The child(ren) must then drive their car very slowly around the space using their steering wheel to turn away from other cars in the space. 10. 1 Rapid Racing Cars GO SLOW, GO FAST, STOP discs (printable) A camera to capture some FUN Rapid Racing Car memories Rapid Racing Cars Start and finish signs (printable) Rapid Racing Cars helmet and goggles (printable) x20 Small cones (or plastic bottles) Rapid Racing Cars steering wheel (printable) A4 Card Sellotape & scissors x4 Flag sticks Give the child(ren) a few go s of the game but vary the discs that are being held up. Once the child(ren) have got used to the coloured discs, it s then time to progress to some races. Use the x20 small cones to make a large circular racing track, place x2 large cones about 1 metre apart to create the start line. Sellotape the start flags to each of the large cones. Place the remaining x2 large cones (again about 1 metre apart) at the end of the track to create a finish line. Again Sellotape the finish flags to the large cones. TIME TO RACE! Two of the children will start the race on the start line alongside each other - get them to start their engines again. Once a coloured disc is held in the air, they can GO. This time the green disc can be used more often, but you may wish to use the amber and red discs at certain points during the race to check they are still watching. During this game, when you want the cars to stop, use the amber disc to slow their cars down first then the red disc to get them to completely stop. Once the STOP disc is held up they must refuel their cars (get them to hold their hand out to their side as though they are refuelling their cars). Once refuelled, hold up the GO FAST disc to get the race back underway.

GAME 10 SUPER SPEEDY OVER & UNDER RACES Get yourself ready on the start line, turn on those superfast trainers again and once you hear GO, be superfast crawling through the tunnels, do a BIG jump over the hurdles and finally cross the finish line to get the fastest time possible! This game is great for developing locomotor skills, fitness, stability, motor planning, spatial awareness and positive self- esteem. A timer Start and finish signs (printable) Sellotape & scissors x2 Pop up tunnels x4 Flag sticks x4 Large cones A camera to capture some FUN pictures x2 Hurdles Make sure you have a large enough clear space for this game e.g. garden. Place x2 large cones about 1 metre apart to form a start line. Print and cut out the start and finish signs (get the children to colour them in if using the colour-in version), and Sellotape the flag sticks to the start signs and attach one to each large cone. Place a tunnel a short distance in-front of the start line. After the tunnel, place x1 hurdle so the child will go through the tunnel and then jump over the hurdle. After the hurdle, add another tunnel a short distance away and then one final hurdle. Finally, place the remaining x2 large cones about 1 metre apart to make the finish line. The child starts the game on the start line. On 3-2-1 GO (start the timer), the child goes through the first tunnel as fast as they can, then over the first hurdle, through the second tunnel and then over the final hurdle. The clock stops on the timer once the child gets through the finish line. To make this game even more FUN, have 10. a timed race against other children, family or friends.

GAME 11 FAST BIKE SLALOM COURSE Grab your fastest bike and make your way to the start line for the Fast Bike Slalom Course. Ride your bike in and out of the cones until you reach the finish line, pick up a character and pedal as fast as you can back to the start line. Get all the characters back to the start line and the timer will stop. Good luck and let s get pedalling! This game is great for developing muscular strength and endurance, spatial awareness, object, colour, and shape recognition, and positive self-esteem. x4 Flag-sticks A camera (to take some super FUN pictures) x10 Large cones (or empty plastic bottles) A 3-wheeled bike/bike Start and finish signs (printable) A stopwatch/timer Sellotape & scissors Kids Coach Jason Characters (printable) x2 Hoops Make sure you have a large enough space. Place x2 cones about 1 metre apart to make the start line. Print out the start and finish signs (colour in if using the line art versions) and cut out. Sellotape the flag sticks to the start and finish signs. Sellotape the start signs to the start line cones. In front of the start line, place around x5 cones in a straight line with around 1 metre space in between each cone. At the end of the line of cones, place a finish line (x2 cones 1 metre apart like the start line). Sellotape the finish signs to the finish line cones (just like the start line). At the side of the finish line, place a hoop with x3 cut-out characters in. 10. 1 1 The child starts on the start line on their bike. On 3-2-1 and then GO, the child pedals as fast as they can in and out of each cone and through the finish line. Once through the finish line, they have to get off their bike and pick up a cut-out character from inside of the hoop and pedal back to the start line, making sure they go in and out of each cone again. Once at the start line, the child must put the character in the start line hoop. The game continues until all x3 characters have been transferred from the finish line hoop to the start line hoop x1 character at a time. Play this game against friends to see who can get the fastest time!

GAME 12 STICKY BALL In this game, we re going to take our ball for a walk really slow and then really fast. We re also going to stop our ball - make sure your ball doesn t get away from you. Keep your head up and keep an eye out for the different body parts being shown; as soon as you see a body part, make sure that body part is stuck to the ball. Let the ball walking begin! This game is great for developing object control, fitness, object, colour, and shape recognition and positive selfesteem. Sticky Ball GO FAST, GO SLOW, STOP DISCS Sticky Ball body parts cards (printable) A camera (to take some super FUN pictures) A large ball Scissors Make sure you have a large enough space for this game. Get the child to stand in a space with the ball beside them on the floor. Get the child to show you their BIG hand; they are going to use their big hand to take their ball for a walk around the space (by pushing the ball). The child must keep looking up to see which disc is being held up - the green disc is GO FAST the amber disc is GO SLOW and the red disc is STOP. Vary which discs are being held up to check the child is watching. Once the child has got the hang of the 3 coloured discs, introduce the body parts cards. Whilst the child is taking the ball for a walk (by pushing the ball with their big hand), different body parts cards can be held up i.e. head, foot, hand. When the child sees the body part being held up, they must make sure that body part is stuck to the ball as fast as they can. Play a few rounds of this game until the child understands they have to keep looking up whilst taking their ball for a walk and keep checking which coloured disc is being shown and which body part card is being held up. To make this game more fun, play this game with a group of friends to see who can be the Sticky Ball champion.
