FROM THE FARMERS MUSEUM The Farmers' Museum Sundays, March 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 8:30 am-1:00 pm (breakfast) 9:00 am-2:00 pm (activities) Sugaring Off Sundays Admission: $9 for ages 13 and up; $5 for children ages 7 to 12; and free for children 6 and younger. Admission includes full breakfast. COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. Join friends and family on Sundays this March for another season of Sugaring Off Sundays at The Farmers' Museum in Cooperstown, New York. The weekly event begins March 6 and continues each Sunday during the month (March 6, 13, 20, and 27), offering contemporary and historic maple sugaring demonstrations, children's activities and more. A full pancake breakfast including scrambled eggs, sausage, and home fries is served from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with all other activities scheduled 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Every Sunday in March there are "sweet" activities planned for everyone. Taste hot maple syrup poured over snow, known as jack wax. Children can learn how to tap maple trees. Stop by the Blacksmith Shop to see our talented craftspeople at work and you can warm up while your there. The Empire State Carousel will be spinning, fun to ride and full of information about the people, places, and animals of New York State. Wagon rides are offered from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (weather permitting). At the Children's Barnyard, admire our Heritage breeds of chickens, turkeys, and sheep. Children can also visit with our gentle horses, cows, oxen, and giant rabbits. The Otsego County Maple Producers will be on hand to talk about maple sugaring and offer local maple products for sale. Delicious local maple syrup is served at the Sugaring Off Sundays pancake breakfast! On Easter Sunday, March 27, children can enjoy an egg hunt at 1:00 p.m. Kids 12 and under will search for eggs hidden throughout our historic village. Prizes will be awarded including a special prize for the one finding the elusive Golden Egg a pass good for free rides on the Empire State Carousel all season long. Sugaring Off Sundays are held March 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 8:30 a.m. 1:00 p.m. (breakfast); 9:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. (activities). FROM NATIONAL BASEBALL HALL OF FAME Reserve Your Spot in the Hall of Fame Classic Lineup -- Night at the Museum Now a Sellout; Tickets Remain for May 28 Hall of Fame Classic at Doubleday Field (COOPERSTOWN, NY) With more than two months to go before the traditional start of summer on Memorial Day Weekend, baseball fans have already made their plans to be in Cooperstown. Two days after tickets for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum s Night at the Museum event went on sale, the event has been declared a sellout. However, fans can still reserve their spot in Cooperstown for the May 28 Hall of Fame Classic, the eighth-annual legends game presented by Ford Motor Company. Tickets for the 2016 Hall of Fame Classic are now on sale online and via phone. Hall of Fame members Andre Dawson, Rollie Fingers, Fergie Jenkins, Phil Niekro, Ryne Sandberg and Ozzie Smith will be joined by recently retired players representing all 30 major league teams for a seven-inning legends game on Saturday, May 28 at Cooperstown s historic Doubleday Field. The 2016 Hall of Fame Classic highlights a weekend of family entertainment programs designed to celebrate the timeless connection of baseball across generations. Tickets are now on sale via phone at 877-726-9028 or at baseballhall.org. Tickets for the Hall of Fame Classic are $12.50 for first and third base seats and $11 for general admission outfield seats. The Classic, fueled by assistance from MLB, features a pre-game Home Run Contest at noon, followed by a new 1:05 start time for first pitch. Hall of Famers Phil Niekro and Ozzie Smith return as team captains and managers. They will be joined by Hall of Famers Andre Dawson, Rollie Fingers, Fergie Jenkins and Ryne Sandberg, who will serve as coaches for the teams. The full rosters of Classic players will also be announced later this spring. This event features two sessions from 4:00-4:20 p.m. and 4:30-4:50 p.m., in which families can play catch on the same diamond as the Hall of Famers and major league stars. Each

participant should bring a baseball glove and one baseball per pair, as no equipment will be provided. This event is free for Classic ticket holders, but due to demand advance registration is required by calling 607-547-0397. The Museum will also offer the Cooperstown Classic Clinic, a baseball training event for youngsters ages 7-12 on Friday, May 27 from 4-7 p.m. The Clinic gives youth participants a chance to receive hands-on tips and advice from several former major leaguers at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown.
