Pre Feis Workshop PRF and WCF volunteers We REALLY need more help on Sunday for the Windy City Feis!! This is our first year running this feis an we need just as many volunteers on Sunday as we do on Saturday! Please look over the sign up genius and volunteer so we can make this feis run smoothly!! It's a great way to meet more people, find out how a feis runs and we will sign off on any service hour requirements of any kids that need service hours!! Trinity is hosting the Pat Roche Feis on October 7 and the Windy City Feis on October 8 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. TPT Believe it or not, it's time to start gearing up for St. Patrick's Day! Registration information for TPT, Trinity's performance program, will be coming out October 13th. Get excited for a great season of dancing, wigs bouncing, and spreading the joy of Irish dance! 3
TRINITY FLEECE PRE-ORDER Typically students need warmer layers during the St. Patrick s Day parades to wear over their costume. To fit into the parade uniform requirements, you can either buy a plain black fleece or a Trinity fleece. Trinity Parade Fleece pre-orders will be opening at Pat Roche Feis on October 7 & 8 then continuing online! There is a limited number of jackets available, so place an order as soon as possible to ensure you will have a fleece in time for the St. Patrick s Day parades. There are three jacket options available: Trinity Fleece: Embroidery includes a knot on the arm, small Trinity Irish Dancers on the chest, and a large Trinity Irish Dancers logo on the back. Men of Trinity Fleece: Embroidery includes a knot on the arm, small Trinity Irish Dancers on the chest, and a large Men of Trinity logo on the back. Parent Fleece: Embroidery includes a knot on the arm and small Trinity Irish Dancers on the chest. As a reminder, this is a pre-order. The first shipment of fleeces will go out on December 1 and then continue from there until the parades. Only orders before January 5th will be guaranteed for the parades. Orders can still be placed after January 5th but there is not a guarantee that they will be done in time for the parades. WI Oktoberfest We are so excited to celebrate Trinity s 35 th anniversary year, and what a better way to celebrate than with an Oktoberfest party!! BRING A FRIEND WEEK! What? Trinity is hosting an Bring a Friend Week at your location! You are invited to bring a friend or two or three to YOUR location during either the pre-beginner (ages 3.5-5yrs) or beginner (ages 6-10yrs) class. Show them around your studio, have some fun, warm up with other dancers and introduce them to your Trinity teacher! Your friend may even learn to jig! Who? Trinity dancers of all ages are invited to bring a friend(s) to the pre-beginner or beginner class at your location or the location nearest you. For example, 14 year old PW/PC and Accelerated dancers are encouraged to bring a little friend to their home location s Open House. Consider inviting family members, neighbors, children you babysit for, your friend s younger siblings, etc. Friends taking the class must be between 3-10 years old. Lakeview & IAHC bring a friend week is being postponed for a later date due to space. How? Your friend will warm up with you in class. They will meet the teacher and warm up with the dancers. Then all friend will be grouped and split to have some fun coloring, practicing on the river mat and learning some Jig steps! The last 10 minutes you will show your friends what you ve been learning and friends will show what they learned.
