Jameson 6th April 2017 THEATRE CLUB 2017: STARLIGHT EXPRESS REHEARSAL SCHEDULE VERSION 1 Putting on a show with a cast of 130 is quite a task to organise. The following timetable is an initial schedule to get us to half term. As progress can be charted, then a more detailed timetable will be produced. Ideally everyone should use a highlighter on the schedule to chart obligations each week. It is more vital than ever that those who attend Routines and Urban Dance groups attend every lunchtime rehearsal. There is a lot of work to do. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT SOLOISTS KNOW THEIR LINES AND HAVE STUDIED THEIR STAGE INSTRUCTIONS IN PREPARATION FOR EACH REHEARSAL. Generally we will be working through the show in order, but obviously soloists will be working on all their songs from the first rehearsal. It is expected therefore all soloists know their parts from the first rehearsal. Easter is learning time. Children may bring a snack to school to eat at an appointed time in the first 45 minutes of the rehearsal schedule. Named soloists and Marshalls are asked to bring a scooter to Theatre Club but only if they own one. Please do not go out to buy one. Please park scooters at the start of rehearsals along the wall outside the Hall Fire Door. GOLD

SATURDAY 8 th JULY 2016 1pm to 5pm, the Main Characters (this will be clarified near the time) with Mr. Loncaster to rehearse on the stage. SUNDAY 9 th JULY 1pm to 5pm EVERYONE: DRESS REHEARSAL MONDAY 10 th JULY Final Theatre Club Full Run 3:30pm to 6:30pm TUESDAY 11th JULY Full Dress Performance to School 1:30pm to 3:45pm PERFORMANCE NIGHTS Wednesday 12 th, Thursday 13 th and Friday 14 th July 2017 at 7pm All performers to report for make up and to change into costume from 6pm to 6:30pm. The show should be over by 9:20pm. Children involved in the show may have a lie in on Friday 15 th July. Those choosing to do this should report to the office to register between 8:50am and 10:30am.
