Drawn Orders will be published at the Show Secretaries appox. 2 hours before the start of each class. STABLE BOOKINGS ***NEW STABLE RULES *** / ***PLEASE READ CAREFULLY*** NEW STABLE RULES IN EFFECT FROM 1 ST SEPTEMBER 2017 Bury Farm WILL take a refundable deposit of 10 from you on booking per stable. Please leave Stables as you would like to find them (CLEAN). To ensure the 10 stable deposit is refunded! Permanent Stables are now ALL bedded on Shavings A Basic bed or 1 bale of shavings will be provided F.O.C and more can be purchased via the stable manager as required. STRAW is not permitted in the permanent barn. Temporary Stables WILL be provided Straw on a FOC basis or you can also purchase shavings. BOOKING: To include 10 th, 11 th, 12 th, 13 th & 14 th January 2018 Stable Charge @ 60 per Horse (BFEC Members) or 72 for NON Members IF you do not leave the stable Clean, The 10 deposit will NOT be refunded. The 10 deposit will be refunded to you and taken off of your account once you have finished competing and your stable cleared. Electric Hook up will be available for a cost of 50 Duration and 25 for 1 Night. This will be allocated on a first come first served basis. HOOK UP BOOKED AFTER THE CLOSING DATE CAN NOT BE GUARANTEED Stables are available from 3pm on THE FIRST DAY OF HIRE & NO LORRY ARRIVALS AFTER 10PM We have 50 Permanent stables which will be allocated to sponsors and stallions. Temporary Stabling will be available if required A 10 deposit for each stable will be charged PRIOR to the show. This will be refunded once the stable is cleared otherwise it will Not be refunded. Any damage caused to the stables will be charged to the hirer. SHAVINGS, HAYLAGE & HAY ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON SITE FROM THE STABLE MANAGER THIS CAN NOT BE PRE-ORDERED!!!! STRAW will be available for all competitors in the temp stabling ONLY on an adlib basis. If you require shavings these can be purchased from stable manager. Extra bedding, this may be purchased from the Stable Managers between 9am & 5pm.

Rule - 76.6 Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. (a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6 (b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2012, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6. Qualifies for: Connolly s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers Second Round. Qualifying period 1st June - 31st May inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the First Round, followed by a clear round in the jumpoff, in at least four Connolly s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers First Round competitions in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in a Connolly s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers Second Round, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). To obtain a double clear qualification, even if the horse is the only clear round, it must jump a jump-off round and jump clear to gain a double clear round. The winner of a particular Connolly s RED MILLS Senior Newcomers First Round competition will not automatically qualify solely as a result of that competition. If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money. Class 2 Senior 1.10m Open. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.10m. For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C. Ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year.

Class 3 Winter 6 Year Old Qualifier Table A10. Speed 0mpm. Start Height 1.10m. For registered horses born on or after 1 January 2012, to be ridden by Adult Associate or Junior Members. Qualifies for: Winter 6 Year Old Final at the Spring Championship Show. Numbers to qualify: The first 6 horse/rider combinations, disregarding the ones already qualified. In instances where riders qualify multiple rides Rules 290.17 and 77.6 apply. Rule 290.15 - Pre-Entry Drawn Order Pre-entries may possibly be accepted before 9.00am providing that the number of entries are less than 60 (with the exception of County shows). Once entries reach 60 before 9.00am the class will be closed. Any entries taken on the day must compete first in the drawn order. Prizes: 1st: 150.00, 2nd: 100.00, 3rd: 75.00, 4th: 60.00, 5th: 40.00, 6th: 30.00, Total: 455.00 Class 4 Equitop Myoplast Senior Foxhunter First Round/Grade C Rule 310.. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.20m. First place rosette kindly sponsored by Equitop Myoplast Horses / ponies may only compete in one section. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule - 76.6 Foxhunter section: (a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 700 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 310.6 (b) For all registered horses born on or after 1 January 2011 irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of seven years or under in the same calendar year as the Foxhunter Final - in accordance with rule 310.6 Four double clears will qualify. Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Foxhunter Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st June-31st May inclusive. Those horses that have qualified for the Senior Foxhunter Championship in 2017 are not eligible for qualification to the 2018 Championship. Grade C section: For registered horses in Grade C ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

Class 5 Senior 1.25m Open Table A4. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.25m. For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C. Ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. Rule 290.15 - Pre-Entry Drawn Order Pre-entries may possibly be accepted before 9.00am providing that the number of entries are less than 60 (with the exception of County shows). Once entries reach 60 before 9.00am the class will be closed. Any entries taken on the day must compete first in the drawn order. GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. The Show Organisation referred to in these Rules and Regulations shall hereinafter mean Bury Farm EC. The BS Senior Premier Show will hereinafter be referred to as the Show. 2. All horses must be registered with the British Show Jumping. Unless competing on a Ticket to Ride, this will be charged at 3. 3. Rule 76.6 will be applied if applicable. 4. The Show, Show Organiser, Volunteer and Officials do not accept liability for any accident, damage, injury, theft or illness to horses, riders, owners, spectators or any other persson or property whatsoever. 5. The Show Organiser retains as it absolute discretion the right to decline or exclude or remove any person or animal from the show or future shows or return any entry fee without being required to assign reason or being liable for any compensation. 6. Competitions The Show Organiser reserves the right to cancel, add to, or amend any of the competitions, as they think fit, with the approval of the British Show Jumping. 7. Smoking Smoking is not permitted within any of the showground buildings or stables. 8. Collecting Ring - All warming up must be done in the designated collecting Rings provided. Persons found abusing horses on the showground may be asked to leave. 9. Refund of Entry and Stable Fees Refunds will only be in accordance with British Show Jumping Rule 79.5.1. Any cancellations made after the close of entry will be charged the full rate for Stable Booking. 10. Cheques Cheques are no longer accepted as a form of payment as from 1 st January 2015. 11. Vehicles The Show Organiser reserves the right to remove any vehicle obstructing any access to or from the ground even if locked and unattended. The Show Organiser will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage occasioned by such removal. 12. Dogs Dogs are permitted in the Lorry Park & car park only and must be kept under control at all times. If, in the opinion of the Show Organiser, any person fails to control their dog/s they may be asked to leave. 13. Prize Givings The Show Organiser reserves the right to withhold prizes if competitors do not attend the Official Prize Giving. 14. Objections Objections should be made in writing in accordance to BSJA Rule 198. Two Show Stewards will be appointed to the Show in accordance to Rule 96.2 15. Official Photographs Any photographs taken at the Championship by the official photographer may be used by the Show Organiser for promotional purposes. 16. First Aid A total of 4 per competitor per day or 10 for the show will be charged towards medical cover during the hours of competition. In accordance with Rule 73.8.2 17. Vaccination Certificate All horses at the show must have a current and valid certificate of vaccination against Equine Influenza. There will be random checking of certificates and any horse found without a valid certificate will be asked to leave the show ground. 18. Stallions No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she I responsible as owner, lessee, authorized agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any class without taking adequate precautions to ensure other persons are not put at risk of injury. 19. Junior Members Competing on horses are only permitted to do so from the calendar year in which the age of 12 is reached. 20. Close of Entries Entries will close on the official closing date. Should space be available late entries may be accepted. 21. Please Read Carefully The General Rules and Regulations.
