HOW ARE YOU IMPROVING YOUR GAME THIS SUMMER? If you attend one (or more!) of Regina Dominican s fun and challenging athletic camps, you will be able to say you are going to make the most of your summer! Come experience a summer with Regina Dominican athletes who will encourage you to achieve your personal best. Make it an unforgettable summer at Regina Dominican. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Grade level refers to grade in the fall of 2018. Summer athletic camps are for girls unless otherwise noted. Programs will not be held on July 4. An official jersey is provided to all participants who register in advance. Camps will take place at Regina Dominican unless otherwise noted. CAMP TITLE COLOR CODE Early Bird pricing will close February 8. Light Blue: Grade School There is a $10 convenience fee for participants who register the day of the athletic clinic. Black: Grade School and High School Regular pricing will begin February 9. BASKETBALL GRADE SCHOOL The basketball clinic will focus on individual skill development under the direction of the varsity coach. During this fun-filled, challenging and competitive clinic, junior high athletes will experience basketball at the high school level. Grade: 1st-7th (Co-Ed) Option I: 6/11-6/15 M-F 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Option II: 6/18-6/22 M-F 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Early Bird: $235 /Regular Price: $250 Option III: 6/11-6/22 M-F 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with Softball: Beginning Hitters. BASKETBALL ADVANCED In this clinic, players will develop the skills and competitive habits required to break down defenders one-on-one, anticipate passing lanes, control the low post, handle the press and score with a shooter s follow through. Grade: 8th-12th Early Bird: $235 /Regular Price: $250 6/11-6/22 M-F 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with Softball: Advanced Hitters. SUMMER BASKETBALL PROGRAM The saying goes, practice makes perfect! Perfect your game this summer at our comprehensive basketball program. This camp, for potential high school players and current high school players, has two components. The first two weeks are primarily focused on skills and drills. The remaining 15 sessions spread out over six weeks (6/26-8/2) will focus on competition. Grade: 8th-12th Early Bird: $ 335 /Regular Price: $350 6/11-6/15, 6/18-6/22, 6/26, 6/28, 6/30, 7/2, 7/10, 7/12, 7/14, 7/17, 7/19, 7/21, 7/24, 7/26, 7/28, 7/31, 8/2 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. CROSS COUNTRY Participants will experience excellence in athletics while training with this team. Workouts will consist of easy runs, tempo runs, form drills, static and dynamic stretching, and weight training specific to running. Total running mileage will be based on the ability level of the individual. Athletes will establish a base for the fall cross country season. Grade: 6th-8th (Co-Ed) and 9th-12th 6/11-6/21 M, T, TH 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. GOLF This clinic is ideal for beginners and intermediate players. Instruction will cater to each athlete s skill set with a focus on strategy, shot selection, course management, rules and etiquette. This clinic is essential for any athlete who wants to prepare for the fall season. Grade: 5th-8th (Co-Ed) and 9th-12th Location: M,W,F @ Willow Hill 1350 Willow Rd, Northbrook T,TH @ Prairie Club, 2800 W Lake Ave, Glenview 7/9-7/13 M-F 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. LACROSSE GRADE SCHOOL This camp is designed for both beginners and experienced lacrosse players. The emphasis of the camp will be on fundamentals and individual skill development through competitive drills and games. Grade: 5th-8th (Co-Ed) 7/16-7/19 M-TH 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

LACROSSE HIGH SCHOOL This camp will provide new players with an introduction to the Regina lacrosse program and allow returning players to continue to develop their skills in the off-season. During this camp, novice players will learn the fundamentals of the sport under the direction of the Regina Dominican coaching staff. Returning players will gain a competitive edge as they continue to learn offensive and defensive concepts. 7/16-7/19 M-TH 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with Volleyball: Freshman Hitters or Volleyball Team Camp. SOCCER GRADE SCHOOL During this game-oriented camp, participants will review the techniques and tactics of play with both individual instruction and team play. Participants will experience small-sided games and further develop their fundamental skills so they are ready to hit the field! Grade: 5th-8th (Co-Ed) 6/25-7/5 M-TH 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with Exploring Your Artistic Voice. SOCCER HIGH SCHOOL Athletes will master the techniques and tactics needed for competitive play during this game-oriented camp. Participants will work on in-game concepts to further develop their fundamental skills. 6/25-7/5 M-TH 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with Exploring Your Artistic Voice. SOFTBALL: BEGINNING HITTERS Hit it out of the park! This camp will cover the basics of hitting and will help you develop your technique. Our coaches will give you the attention you deserve. Bat grip, bat choice, stance and steps in the swing process will all be demonstrated and practiced. Get that great foundation in order to have that home run swing! Grade: 3rd-6th Location: Techny Towers 2001 Waukegan Rd, Northbrook, IL 60062 6/18-6/21 M-TH 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with Girls Who Code or Basketball Grade School.

SOFTBALL: ADVANCED HITTERS Refine your batting skills by altering your technique to improve your hit. Our coaches will cover advanced hitting skills including hitting inside or outside pitches, having a pre-at-bat plan, taking away the pitcher s best pitch, as well as proper contact. The individual attention you will receive will help you improve in a week! Before you know it, you will consistently be hitting it out of the park! Grade: 7th-12th Location: Techny Towers 2001 Waukegan Rd, Northbrook, IL 60062 Early Bird: $ 85 /Regular Price: $100 6/18-6/21 M-TH 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with Girls Who Code or Basketball High School. SOFTBALL TEAM CAMP Develop your offensive and defensive game at this combination of team practices and games. Participants will develop and enrich their skills as they learn how to compete and perform at a high level of play. Athletes will work on game situations as a team and then incorporate those skills in games. Location: Techny Towers 2001 Waukegan Rd, Northbrook, IL 60062 Early Bird: $235 /Regular Price: $250 6/25-7/5 M-TH 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with Exploring Your Artistic Voice. TENNIS Athletes will enhance their level of play this summer in a competitive high school atmosphere. This clinic, designed for beginner and intermediate players, is essential for players wanting to improve their footwork, stroke patterns and strategy prior to the fall season. Grade: 5th-8th (Co-Ed) and 9th-12th Location: Community Playfield/ Locust Park 702 Locust Rd, Wilmette, IL 60091 7/9-7/12 M-TH 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with CSI Regina. VOLLEYBALL: ADVANCED HITTERS This camp will emphasize the key elements of a successful offense at the third contact. Whether you are an outside, right side or middle attacker, this camp will focus on form from footwork to arm swing. Advance hitters will add speed and power to their offensive attack. Grade: 10th-12th 7/9-7/12 M-TH 12 p.m.-1 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with CSI Regina.

VOLLEYBALL: SETTERS This camp will emphasize the key elements of a successful offense at the first and second contact. Setters will focus on the second contact tempo and running an offense in order to perfect their game. 7/9-7/12 M-TH 1 p.m.-2 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with CSI Regina or Tennis. VOLLEYBALL TEAM CAMP The Regina Dominican tradition shines in this volleyball clinic as athletes learn advanced setting, blocking, hitting, and serving strategies. Athletes will see their game evolve and learn the high-level collegiate mindset that pays off during important games. Grade: 10th-12th Early Bird: $285 /Regular Price: $300 7/16-7/26 M-TH 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with Volleyball: Setters, DS, Middles. VOLLEYBALL: FRESHMAN HITTERS This camp will emphasize the key elements of a successful offense at the third contact. This camp will simulate in-game situations. Grade: 10th-12th 7/16-7-19 M-TH 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. Stay the Day! Pair this camp with Volleyball Team Camp. VOLLEYBALL FRESHMAN TEAM CAMP Incoming freshmen will work on volleyball fundamentals as they prepare to advance to the high school level of play. Athletes will develop proper serving, setting, hitting, and blocking techniques. Varsity Coach Robert Hughes will emphasize overall game strategies that build strong individuals into great team players.
