COMPETITION / USFS TESTING CONFLICT If you are going to miss a contracted session(s) due to a skating competition/usfs test session you will be allowed to receive random coupon(s) to use during the Spring 2018 contract for your missed session(s). Submit a copy of your official competition/test time(s) from the competition/test session to Anna Leik no later than ONE WEEK prior to the event. There must be a direct conflict with your competition/test time and your contracted session to receive the coupon. Requested coupons can ONLY be redeemed by the person whose name appears on the coupon, and are not transferrable to other skaters including family members. Northern Blades coupons will only be valid for other Northern Blades sessions. CHANGING/CANCELLING SESSIONS ~ INJURY OR ADDING SESSION Injury ~ If you need to cancel due to an injury, a doctor s note must be submitted with your request for a refund or credit. Refunds or credit will only be issued if your injury keeps you from skating more than one week. The first notification on file must be to NSC within 72 hours of the first date requesting the contract credit. A doctor s note is required within five days of the first date requesting a credit. Your ice time will then be placed on the cancellation list for the duration of the injury request. Adding Sessions ~ No late fee will apply if you add additional sessions after the contract due date. Contract will be processed at the date the changes/additions are made. Any changes to your original contract must be submitted in writing. Cancelled Session ~ If a session is cancelled by NSC due to low enrollment you will be notified immediately. Switching Sessions ~ Skaters will be allowed to switch contracted sessions to a different session on the same day (if there are random open spots). If you are switching from a 30 minute session to a 45 minute session there is a fee of $4.25. There will be no credit given if you switch from a 45 to 30 minute session. There is no switching to or from a Northern Blades Freestyle session. Stop Skating/Cancel Contract ~ If a skater stops skating or wants to cancel their contract during the current contract session, they will be responsible for payments for all the ice skated and all future ice will be cancelled once notification is received. The notification must be made via email with the final skating date listed. A $100 cancellation fee or the remaining ice payments (whichever is less) will be required to close out an ice skating contract account. Dropping sessions ~ If a request is made to drop a session(s) after the start of the contract, there will be a $25 processing fee per change request.
