Hong Kong Youth Day League Hong Kong Youth Day League is a one day tournament for youth players of 6 to 11 years old. There will be maximum 4 age groups, total 24 teams (or more than 320 players) to participate in the tournament on each single match day. Match Day: 17 Apr 2016 08:15pm to 1:15pm Boys Under 7 & Under 9 17 Apr 2016 12:15am to 5:15pm Boys Under 10 Venue: Jockey Club Kitchee Centre - 23 On Muk Street, Shek Mun, Shatin Age Groups: Boys Under 12 Born on or after 1 Jan 2004 Boys Under 11 Born on or after 1 Jan 2005 Boys Under 10 Born on or after 1 Jan 2006 Boys Under 9 Born on or after 1 Jan 2007 Boys Under 8 Born on or after 1 Jan 2008 Boys Under 7 Born on or after 1 Jan 2009 Number of participants per team: For Under 12 & Under 11: Each team needs to enrol at a minimum of 8 players and maximum of 12 with 1 team manager who aged 18 or above. For other age groups: Each team needs to enrol at a minimum of 10 players and maximum of 15 with 1 team manager who aged 18 or above. Each team can only submit 1 application form. Each player can only enrol 1 team, while each team manager only can represent 1 team in each category. Players cannot be changed or cancelled after submission of the application.
Prizes: Each team will receive a prize trophy for each match day. Application Fee: HK$200 for each team in each age group. The application fee includes the pitch rental, referee, on field medical staff and third party insurance. Besides the on field first aid service, the organizer is not responsible for any expense of the player s injury and insurance. Note: Application fee will be returned to all unsuccessful applicants. Send the completed application form and players enrolment form, together with crossed cheque for the application fee (made payable to Kitchee Foundation Limited ) to: Jockey Club Kitchee Centre, 23 On Muk Street, Shek Mun, Shatin, NT. Please note: Hong Kong Junior Day League on the envelop. (Faxes will not be accepted.) Note: Team members and managers must present their original or copy of HKID cards (same as the application form) for verification on the event day. Enrolment Deadline: 3 working days before each match day (According to the postmark date) Enrolment is on first come first served basis Confirmation of participation: Team managers of successfully enrolled teams will receive a confirmation email 2 days before the matchd ay. Unsuccessful applicants will receive in full refund of the application fee in 7 working days after the submission deadline. Please contact 2838 9326 for enquiry. Once the confirmation email has been sent out, application fee will not be refunded if a team pull out from the tournament for any reason. Rules and Regulations of Tournament
A round robin competition will be played with three points awarded for a win and one point for a tie. The team with the most points from each group will be the winner. In case of ties, position will be decided according to the following prioritized criteria: a. Greater number of points obtained in the group matches between the Teams concerned. b. Goal difference resulting from the group matches between the Teams concerned. c. Greater number of goals scored in the group matches between the Teams concerned. d. Goal difference resulting from all group matches. e. Greater number of goals scored in all group matches. f. Least number of yellow and red cards, the team receiving the least number of points will be ranked the highest. Each team will receive points for receiving red and yellow cards as indicated below: i. Each yellow card (1 point) ii. Each red card as a consequence of two yellow cards (3 points) iii. Each direct red card (3 points) iv. Each yellow card followed by a direct red card (4 points) g. Draw

The Ball The organizer will provide the official match ball. Size 4 ball will be the match ball for U7-U10 and size 5 ball will be the match ball for U11 & U12. b. Official match duration The match duration will be 20 minutes with no intermission (no half time). All home teams (First team) defend at the river side and all away teams (Second team) defend at the On Muk Street side.
c. Substitution Substitutions can be made when the ball is out of play; Team is allowed to make 2 substitutions in each game and 4 players can be substituted for each time. A player who has been replaced may return to the pitch as a substitute for another player. d. Walkover of the match At the start of the game or anytime during the game, each team must have a minimum of 5 players, one of whom is the goalkeeper. If any team fails to have 5 players, the match must be abandoned. And, the failing team shall forfeit 0-3 loss. Should a team pull out of the game during a match or decide to leave the field of play, the organizing committee shall rule that : The failing team shall forfeit 0-3 loss or scoreline shall remain the same. (Organizer will take the choice which has the best advantage to the team against.) e. Team manager is required to be present during the match. Should the team manager leave the field of play during the match, the game will be terminated. The result of the match will be set according to the regulations under walkover of the match. f. Free kick Players Position (New) All attacking players must remain outside the goal area until the ball is in play. Scales of Punishment Scales for Cautions A Player who has accumulated 2 Cautions shall automatically be suspended for the next upcoming match Scales of Expulsions If a Player is sent off by the referee when he commits serious offences or misconduct, the player shall automatically be suspended for the next upcoming match.
Player s Equipment 1. Players have to wear suitable footwear and shin guards. 2. Each team must have 2 sets of jersey which has significant difference in colour with player numbers, one of the jerseys can be replaced by colour bibs with numbers. The goalkeeper must wear a jersey which is not alike to the outfield players and referee. In case the referee cannot distinguish the colours then the away team must change the colour. (Please note that this is not a penalty rule but to assist the referee to distinguish the colours of both teams. The organizer, referee and teams should coordinate with their best effort in order to have the match smoothly. 3. Players are not permitted to wear glasses and any accessories during the match. 4. Drinking water will be provided at the bottle filling station in the centre. Players are advised to prepare their own water bottle for filling water. Important Notes 1. Late applications will not be accepted. 2. Incomplete applications will not be processed. 3. All personal information will be used for registration, age confirmation only. All personal information will be destroyed with 1 month after the final match day of the season. 4. The organizer reserves the right to make necessary changes to any of the above information without prior notice. 5. Organizer reserves the right of making any final decisions. 6.
