Pro-Member Allocation Process Fill out the enclosed Allocation Sheet by prioritizing the events you would like to try and play and return it - WITH your Chapter dues payment - by February 1, 2018. You will not be assigned Pro-Member times until your dues are paid - NO EXCEPTIONS!!! The sooner your sheet is received at the Chapter Office with your dues payment, the higher the priority you will have within your priority level. Tee times will be allocated and emailed back to you by mid-february. This year there are 37 regular Pro-Member events, plus the Patriot Golf Day Pro-Am, the two Pro-Jr events. However, with over 220 professionals expected to apply for times, the chance of receiving all of your top picks is very remote, even for those of you in the highest priority. Last year, sixteen courses filled during the first round. To ensure you get "enough" times be sure to list a priority for all courses you will play. Leave the priority box blank if there are events you will not play. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR $60 AND $80 EVENTS In order to retain your priority level you must sign up for and play in at least one $60 and one $80 amateur event. If you only wish to play in one $60 (or $80) event, please mark your first choice of a $60 event with a number and the letter A such as 12A. Then mark you second choice of a $60 event as 12B, your third as 12C and continue through all the $60 events you would play in. You will only be given your highest available $60 pick. Do the same for your $80 events if you only want to play in one of them. If you do not select multiple choices for your only $60 or $80 events, and the event you have chosen is full, another such event will be selected for you at allocation to retain your priority ranking. If you want to play in more than one $60 or $80 event just number them in the regular manner, according to your choice of ranking. If you cancel from your first $60 or $80 event, you will be sent notification that you are still required to play in a $60 or $80 event and added to an Event Required List. When you play a future $60 or $80 event you will be removed from the list. All professionals remaining on the list on September 1st will be sent an invoice to pay for the entire team entry from that level of event. Money collected will be added to the purses for the Chapter Championship and Pro-Assistant Championship in October. EXAMPLE FOR FILLING OUT ALLOCATION SHEET: Conceivably, you could number each event 1-36 with your number one priority being the course you would most like to play, number two the next, and so on. It is not necessary to prioritize every event. The more events you give a priority number to, the more events you will have a chance to receive times for, but please do not prioritize any courses you would not play. If you get a time at a course you decide you don t really want, please cancel it right away. Here's how the allocation process works: Round 1: Round 2: Round 3: Round 4: Each professional receives 4 (2 then 2 in priority level 1) times according to the listed priority below. Each professional receives 4 additional times according to the priority below. Each professional receives 4 additional times according to the priority below. If any times remain; the staff will fill according to the priority below. When assigning your courses during allocation, your first choice will be checked first. If a time is available, you will be given one. If your first choice is not available, your second choice will be checked and so on until you have been given four times in the first round. If you only list four courses with a priority, and one or more of them are not available, you may only receive two or three courses. Priority Level: 1. Host Head Professionals, General Managers and Directors of Golf; 15 year PGA members. 2. Member Head Professionals, General Managers and Directors of Golf at other courses/approved ranges. 3. All other PGA Members. 4. Host Professionals' Apprentices. 5. Apprentices at other courses. Professionals within the same priority will be assigned allocations based on date of receipt of allocation form and dues. Spring Swing, Suncadia Two-Day & Fall Fling: One allocation for each of these events. Individual courses will open if space is available after the cancellation deadline. Bring Two Teams to a Pro-Member: A professional may bring two teams to a Pro-Member and will be given priority after all allocations have been awarded. On your allocation sheet, mark YES in the Two Teams column for an event you wish to bring two teams. If there are openings available at that event after allocations, you will be given back-to-back tee times for your two teams. Play 9 holes with the first group and fall back to the second group for your second 9 holes. Professionals pay one entry fee and may win team money with one team. NOTE: IF YOUR COURSE HOSTS A PRO-MEMBER, DO NOT GIVE IT A PRIORITY NUMBER. Professionals are automatically given a time at their own course, including other courses which are part of the multiple day events.

2018 WWC PGA PRO-MEMBER GUIDELINES 1. ELIGIBILITY: Members: All active life members and active regular members are eligible. Current employment is not an eligibility requirement for members. Since active members who have left their jobs are still eligible to participate, they will also be subject to fines for late cancellation or no-shows. Members who become suspended or go inactive will lose their remaining spots. Their prior course may request to keep those spots for their other professionals. Apprentices: Registered Apprentices are eligible to play as long as they are currently employed or transferring to a new employer. Pro-Member spots for Apprentices who become suspended may be used by other professionals at their course. Apprentices who leave eligible employment will lose their remaining spots until they resume eligible employment. Their prior course may request to keep those spots for their other professionals. Amateurs: Amateurs must be18 years of age or older, and from the professional s OWN club. If unable to secure 3 members, the professional should call the host professional. The host professional will try to help fill the foursome with players from the host club. If the host professional does not have players available, then professionals may bring amateurs from another club, provided they have a valid USGA handicap. Always check with the host professional for players first. 2. TRANSFERS: Pro-member tee times may always be exchanged among in-house golf professionals. If, after the cancellation deadline, a professional needs to cancel their time at an event that is not full, the professional may find a replacement professional from any course to take their place, as long as that professional does not already have a spot in the field. If a professional leaves a position for another position in the Chapter, the tee times go with the professional. 3. DRESS CODE: Professionals and amateurs must abide by the dress code in effect at the host course. In addition, under no circumstances may professionals (male or female) wear JEANS of any style or color at any venue. Tailored golf shorts (including skirts or skorts for females) may be worn by professionals and amateurs alike. Specifically prohibited : cut-offs, cargo shorts or any baggy shorts with or without oversized pockets, short shorts, athletic shorts, and any type of exercise shorts. REMEMBER: Most country clubs and some public golf courses do not allow shirts without collars. Softspikes are nearly always required by the host Club. Persons not meeting this dress code will not be allowed to participate. It is the professional s responsibility to insure that his/her amateurs are advised of the dress code. 4. REGISTRATION & SCORING: Each golf professional is responsible for the accuracy of his team's handicaps. Two official scorecards will be printed for all teams. Both scorecards are to be filled out completely, checked to make sure they match, and each signed by two players of the foursome. All four players must sign a scorecard. To speed up the registration process, professionals are encouraged to register their team online by 3 pm of the last day prior to the event. Teams not registered on-time will be given blank tournament scorecards (no names or handicap information). 5. CANCELLATIONS: Professionals will again have access in 2018 to cancel, change or add a tee time online using ForeTees. A link to the tee sheets will be on the Pro-Members page of the Chapter website. Cancellation deadlines (3 weeks prior) will still be used. FINES 1. Cancellations prior to 5:00 PM on the "Cancellation Deadline" date are not subject to fine. 2. Cancellations after the "Cancellation Deadline" date will be fined $100 unless the event is full and the spot is filled. 3. Cancellations on the day of the event or a NO SHOW will result in a fine equal to the team entry fee. 4. FAILURE TO TURN IN A CARD WITHIN 30 MINUTES AFTER COMPLETION OF PLAY WILL RESULT IN A $25.00 FINE. This requires you come directly off the course at the end of a shotgun event. If you do not turn in a card at all, it will cost you $25.00 EVEN if the card is a NON-WINNING scorecard. 5. Any of the fines above may be appealed in writing to the WWC Board of Directors within 10 days of receipt of a fine notification. In the instance of a work related appeal, a letter from the employer is strongly recommended. The fine payment must accompany the appeal and will be held until the appeal is heard. 6. HANDICAP POLICY: In general, amateurs must have an active USGA Ghin or E-Z Links handicap to play in WWC events. The club hosting such a handicap group must either be located at a golf course or conduct events for its members to play in at local golf courses. On-line handicaps with virtual golf clubs will not be valid. A few exceptions are as follows: 1.) Any amateur may play in an event to a zero handicap. 2.) An amateur may play in an event if he/she has an inactive handicap that can be substantiated. This provision will allow the amateur to play one time, and he or she will be directed to get the handicap activated before playing in another event. The executive director may extend this provision based on his or her assessment of the situation. 3.) Guests invited as part of a sponsor team may play without a handicap and a conservative estimated handicap will be assigned by the executive director. The executive director has the right to assign a temporary handicap under special circumstances. The maximum handicap index allowed is 25.0 for all players (men and women) in regular pro-member and senior pro-am events. The handicap limit for pro-ladies events is 40.0. Amateurs with higher indexes may participate, but will be limited to the maximum allowable index. Professionals will be limited to an index of 8.0 for pro-member events. There is no professional limit for senior pro-ams. All players play to 90% of their handicap for the team game; 100% for the individual games, including kp s and long drives. Players over 60 may move up one tee at most venues. Their handicap will be reduced via rule 3-5. Players moving forward are ineligible to win gross prizes or long drives in their divisions. 7. PACE OF PLAY: Groups are required to validate their scorecard at the scorer's table within 4:40 of their tee time. Failure to have your scorecard validated by the required time will result in a one stroke penalty for each member of the group on hole #18. Groups returning a scorecard within 10 minutes of their preceding group will not be penalized. A 5 minute grace period will be extended to tardy groups. Scorecards do not have to be signed to validate, but must have scores for all 18 holes recorded.

2018 WWC PGA Senior Pro-Am Allocation Guidelines On February 12th, we will assign all Senior Pro-Am requests on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be no other priorities established like in the regular pro-members. We will go through the stack and grant each pro their top four picks, then do it all over again and again until everybody gets all their picks or all the events fill. We will put pros on the waiting list for each event as well. Professionals may wear shorts to these events. The shorts must be tailored golf shorts cargo shorts, athletic shorts, and cut-offs, etc. are prohibited. Fill out the enclosed Allocation Sheet by prioritizing the events you would like to play and whether or not you would like to reserve power carts and return it to the office by February 1, 2018. You will not be assigned Pro-Am times unless your chapter dues are paid. The sooner your sheet is received at the chapter office the higher priority you will have. Eligibility Professionals must be 45 to play in all events except 50 for the Senior Match Play Championship. Professionals must be Active or Life Members or eligibly employed apprentices. Class F, suspended or inactive members are not eligible. Amateurs must be age 50. Handicap Limits Professionals and amateurs will be limited to an index of 25.0. 90% of the course handicap will be used for the team competition. Players over 60 may elect to play forward tees at most events. Their handicap will be reduced according to rule 3-5. Players using the forward tee are not eligible to win low gross in their division nor the long drive competition. Fines The cancellation deadline for senior pro-ams is three weeks prior to the event. This matches the same deadline procedure as for the regular pro-member events. If you cancel after the deadline you will be fined $100 (previously $50). If you cancel or no-show on the day of the event you will be fined the entire team entry of $230. Entry Fees In 2018 amateurs will pay $60 at each event and professionals will pay $40 plus the $10 mandatory skins game, totaling $50. The total team entry is $230. Carts Carts should all be reserved in advance by marking the column on the allocation form. If you do not request carts, there is a chance carts will not be available for you on the day of the event. Changes in cart reservations must be made prior to the event s cancellation deadline. If you have a cart(s) reserved past the event s cancellation deadline, you will be required to pay for the cart(s).
