July 26th, 2016 Greetings! This Thursday the Moose Promenader dance will be from 7-9:30PM. The Pink Cadillac Dance rocked last Thursday. It was a festive time with lots of food and a great cake. Bill Chesnut and Susan Snider kept the joint a jumpin with their calls and cues.

Debbie Miller & Sydney Crisp dressed for the occasion. Soon it was time to judge the best outfits for the dance. Our judges (l-r), were Patty Fox, Jim Weismore & Maxine Thomas.

The dancers paraded around the floor as they showed off their outfits. Thank you to all of the dancers who participated in contest. Then it was time for the judges to make a very difficult decision. After the judges conferred, it was time to announce the winners for 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd.

Bill Barker presented the 1 st Place prize to Debbie & Wayne Miller. The 2 nd Place prize went to Susan Snider & Mark Fetzer. Mary Ann Baugh was presented with her 3 rd Place prize. Congratulations to our winners and we look forward to next year s Pink Cadillac dance.

The excitement didn t stop as it was time for the 50-50. Congratulations to Mary Cahan who won the drawing worth $41! Belinda Barker won the Free Pass. There no Last Tip winner Peter Suess number was drawn however he was not present. This Thursday, the Last Tip drawing is worth $19. Diva Luncheon A nice turnout attended the Diva luncheon last Wednesday at the Greek Village restaurant in Orange Park.

July 28 th The Moose Promenader s dance will end at 9:30 PM instead of 10 PM. The new times will be 7 PM-9:30 PM. July 29 th and 30 th Elmer Sheffield will be calling and Susan Snider will be Cueing for the NWFSARDA Annual Round-up. August 25 th The Pirates Ball.

September 8 th The Beginner s Square Dance Class will start at 7 PM. Tell all of your friends that this is a great opportunity to learn the fun of square dancing They will also meet a lot of great people and make many new friends. Better yet, just bring your friend and let them find out for themselves. September 8 th The Moose Promenader dues are due, $10 per person. November 18 th & 19 th NEFSARDA Fall Festival theme is A Bountiful Barn Dance. Start collecting that non-perishable food for the baskets. Hoe down or barn dance attire, whatever that is. Ribbons are on sale now for $15 or $20 at the door. See Pat Herscha. June 21 st -June 24 th 2017. The 66 th National Square Dance Convention. Joys and Concerns Jackie Hamlin is recovering at home.
