Kishwaukee Chronicle JANUARY 6, 2018 Note from the Editor. Happy New year!! Leagues are starting. Come out and join one! No better way to meet other members and improve your skills. Work hours are done for 2017. If you didn t get in your hours, then you will be required to send in $20 per hour not completed with your renewal payment. The Club bylaws require the board of directors to submit a budget and set the membership dues for the coming year at the January monthly meeting. After a lot of discussion, a balanced budget of $38,720 was submitted. In order to keep up with the standards the Kishwaukee Archers club members have come to expect, and the loss of various indoor shoots, it was concluded that an increase in the annual club membership dues would be required for 2018. The changes in the membership dues are listed below. $120 for working and $220 for non-working. The rate for Students stays the same, but those ages 18 and older will be required 4 working hours. Dan Kollins / John Geraci Fox Valley Archery (formally Buckstop Archery) has changed their name but not their location and contact number. Check them out a www.foxvalleyarchery.net or 847-844-3337 a 10% discount is still in effect for K.A. Members. Introduction Grab your gear and come out to the club for some practice to insure you are ready for your next shot of the lifetime. Share your sport and invite a new shooter or experienced shooter to accompany you. Do you remember who introduced you to the sport of archery? Maybe you could be that person for your new shooting partner.

No news is good news, but no news means a blank newsletter. Please send in your stories, pictures and ideas. This is a newsletter about the club and its members. If you have something to share, email one of the officers listed at the bottom of the newsletter. Happy Shooting and leave the club better than you found it!
