They will then host the Maple Leafs on Tuesday, February 15 before back-to-back road games against the Islanders and Senators on Thursday and Friday. All three weekday games will be televised on NESN and broadcast on 98.5 The Sports Hub. Friday s tilt in Ottawa will be a 7:30 p.m. start. MARCHAND TO JOIN WZLX: Bruins forward Brad Marchand will join Karlson and McKenzie on 100.7 WZLX every Tuesday morning at 8:25 a.m. beginning this Tuesday, February 15. SELKE RESUME: The NHL s First Star of the Month for January Patrice Bergeron now has 45 points on the season with 19 goals and 26 assists. He is fourth among NHL forwards in plus/minus with a +22 and centers the Bruins line most frequently deployed against the opposition s top scoring line. He also leads all Bruins forwards in shorthanded ice-time with an average of 2:08 per game (skaters who have appeared in more than 30 games this year) and also averages 2:47 on the power play. THE FIGHTER: Irish Micky Ward, the decorated boxer from Lowell, MA who the Academy Award -nominated film The Fighter is based on, will drop the ceremonial puck before the Bruins/Red Wings game on Friday February 11 at the TD Garden in Boston (7:00 p.m., TV: NESN, RADIO: 98.5 The Sports Hub). Goaltender Tim Thomas dropped the gloves with Montreal s Carey Price in that game, which was the first fight of Thomas career. The Bruins improved to 20-9-4 when a fight occurs, 7-3-1 when multiple fights occur and 9-3-1 when enforcer Shawn Thornton gets in a fight. The B s have been much more inclined to fight at home than on the road, with 38 of their 55 fights (69%) occurring at the TD Garden.
